I will divorce her

752 Words
"Max, if you still love Vivian, just live happily with her. I will take Oliver away and won't disturb your life anymore." Biting her lips, Jasmine slowly turned the wheelchair and left. Max caught up with her and held her in his arms. His voice was extremely gentle. "What nonsense are you talking about? I'm with her just to let her have a baby and save Oliver. Don't you know that?" "I'm sorry, Max. It's just... I'm afraid when I see you with another woman." Jasmine sobbed in his arms. "You don't have to apologize. It's my fault. I didn't do well enough to make you feel insecure." Max felt more guilty when she cried. If Vivian hadn't been jealous and sent someone to r**e Jasmine and break her legs, she wouldn't have left a shadow in her heart. She would have been frightened everywhere like now. Max was afraid that Jasmine would overthink and hurt herself, so he asked Oliver and her to move into his house that day. "Max, you and Vivian are a couple. Isn't it good for me to live here with Oliver?" Jasmine bit her lips uneasily, with tears in her eyes. Max said in a low voice, "we'll divorce after she gives birth to the baby." "Is... Is it unfair to Vivian?" "This is the price she should pay for hurting you." Max told Vivian to cook. As soon as the dishes were served, she heard these words. She paused, put the food on the table with a sneer, and then pulled out a chair and sat down. "Did I ask you to sit down?" Max said coldly. Vivian had already been used to his humiliation. She stood up and watched them eating like a servant. He even wiped the chair she had sat inside and out according to his instructions. He said he thought she was dirty. Meanwhile, Jasmine's chopsticks fell to the ground. Max asked Vivian to pick them up. The table was not very high, so Vivian had to kneel on the ground and get in to pick up the chopsticks. But as soon as she kneel, Jasmine kicked her in the face. Is Jasmine's leg okay? Vivian frowned. Before she could react, the hot soup in Jasmine's hand fell down and spilled on half of her face. The hot soup splashed on her face, making her feel a piercing pain. Splash! Vivian felt so painful that she stood up subconsciously. The table was overturned by her, and the food on it just fell on Jasmine. "Max, it's so hot. It hurts..." Jasmine's eyes were red and her voice was trembling with pain. Max held her in his arms and asked, "where did you get hurt?" "I'm fine, Max. Don't blame Vivian. She didn't mean it." "Why do you still speak for her since you are injured like this?" Max picked up Jasmine with his arms around his waist, turned his head and said to Vivian viciously, "I've been too tolerant to you recently. You'll regret it!" Tolerance? Was it tolerance for her to treat her coldly and violently every day? Or was it tolerance for her to let her be a servant and humiliate her? Vivian felt sad, but she didn't dare to insist. She knew how cruel this man was. She endured the pain and stood up, trying to explain. But Max didn't give her a chance and strode away. Jasmine put her head on his shoulder and gave her a complacent smile. The thought of Max's cold eyes sent shivers down Vivian's spine. She had no time to deal with the scalds on her face and called him, but he didn't answer. She sent him a message to explain. But there was no reply. Vivian waited anxiously at home with a pale face. Fortunately, Max came back soon. "Jasmine kicked me just now, and the hot soup spilled on my face. I couldn't help but feel pain, so I..." Before she could finish her words, Max interrupted her. "Jasmine's leg is broken. How can she kick you? Vivian, even if you find an excuse, please pay attention to it. Don't coax me like a fool." "I didn't lie to you, and I didn't hurt her either. If you don't believe me, you can go to have an examination for her." Vivian tried her best to suppress her anger, but her nails pierced into her palms because of her excessive forbearance, causing a sharp pain. Why couldn't he trust her once?!
