The Surprise Mate

Chapter 13: Answer's Finally are told.

Sunshine's P.O.V.:

I was watching out the window when I saw Donaldson walking towards the group with a guy who must be from Stephon’s crew then I watched as they all entered the building coming to get me hopefully, I thought to myself. Then I got up and walked over to the wash basin and cleaned myself up, once I was cleaned up, I sat down on my bed and waited for them to show up. It wasn’t long before I could hear them coming up the stairs then I heard someone probably the guy that’s from there crew talking to my guards. Then Donaldson was there pushing aside the skin in front of my doorway, and he just stared at me as if he couldn’t get enough and neither could I get enough of looking at him either.

Then as if we were both thinking on the same wave link, we both started walking at first then we sped up and soon we were in eachother’s arms kissing as if we would devour eachother. My hands rested against his chest, and I could feel the way his muscles rippled under my hands as I slowly slid them up and over his shoulders then around the back of his neck one hand continuing up into his hair as I pulled him that last inch of space between us so that we were in full contact with eachother’s body’s with only the thin layer of clothing between our bodies. As his hands ran down my back making me shiver with anticipation of what I hoped was soon to come until his hands stopped to rest just above my ass still on my back, we continued to devour eachother’s mouths almost completely forgetting that we had an audience until I heard someone clear their throat which acted as a splash of cold water and slowly we separated just enough to look over and see who it was that interrupted our hot make out session. It was as I looked back towards the doorway that I remembered that Dorothyanna and Adamson were also here with Donaldson and that it was Adamson who must have been the one to clear his throat judging from the mischievous cat ate the canary grin on his face and Dorothyanna was just looking at us with the look that says get a room preferably not this one though on her face seeing them and knowing that they just witnessed me practically trying to jump Donaldson right there and then made me blush a deep crimson red which made Donaldson chuckle then he said “come on let’s get out of here before Stephenson changes his mind” as he guided me to the doorway where the group split down the middle clearing the way for us then we walked hand in hand down the long flight of stairs until we reached the ground floor then we walked out of the building and kept walking at a steady but slightly fast pace until we were outside Stephenson’s territory then we stopped we would rest there for a little while before continuing on our long journey.

Donaldson's P.O.V.:

When Adamson cleared his throat bringing us to our senses, I realized that Dorothyanna and Adamson had been trying to get my attention through our link, “Sorry I say to them in my mind I don’t know what came over me for a minute there what’s wrong?” I ask them “Nothing is wrong yet, but I fear that Stephenson might change his mind if we don’t hurry up and get out of his territory as quickly as we can. I already sent Dunkin with two wolfs to wait for us outside the barrier, and what happened is simple enough to explain she’s your mate and that bond is so strong that it’s natural for you to forget where and when you are while in her arms, and the sooner we are out of here the sooner you can tell her all she needs to know I’m certain she is planning on asking you a whole lot of questions. Especially sense weather or not he meant to do it or not Stephen mentioned pack, Alpha, and mate often enough and loud enough that I know Sunshine heard him. Plus, when our pack members walked off to change shape then returned in their wolf form’s I’m almost certain she seen that to not the changing shape part but the rest and I’m certain she’s starting to think something is up with that. She used to have dreams of men who could change into the form of wolfs at the time I shrugged it off as just a strange coincidence, but I now think she was having visions of our pack” replied Dorothyanna.

“Yes, you are right I didn’t notice it at the time, nor did I think she could hear him in the building she was being kept in, but I agree she will definitely be wanting answers. I don’t trust him to keep his word either if we were to dally to long in his territory either let's go and as swiftly and quickly as we can” I tell her. Then leading Sunshine by the hand, we leave the building and Stephenson’s territory as quickly as we possibly can on two legs. All the while I was trying to figure out how to answer the question’s I was most certain were coming my way as soon as it was safe.

Sunshine's P.O.V.:

When we stopped for the night in a small clearing near a stream, I walked over to the stream to be alone so that I could figure out how I was going to ask the questions I needed answered which were:

1. Why did Stephon keep calling Donaldson an Alpha?

2. Why did Stephon call me Donaldson’s Mate?

3. Why did Stephon call Donaldson’s family and soldiers his pack?

And last but not least

4. Is Donaldson’s family werewolf’s like in my dreams? If so, what does that mean for me.

The only problem is I have no clue how to ask those questions especially that last one without sounding like I’m crazy or delusional. I think to myself as I stand their staring at the full moon it’s hard to believe that just a month ago under a similar full moon I was standing in Donaldson’s camp with him looking at the full moon to never suspecting that he might be anything but human now I’m standing here by myself stressing over the fact that they might all be something other than human including my best friends Dorothyanna, Adamson and even Donaldson’s mom who I was starting to think might someday could be considered as my mother in-law. What am I even thinking it’s not possible for them to be anything but human I’m just being stupid.

Not realizing that I said that last part out loud nor realizing that Donaldson had come up behind me until he says: “Why are you calling yourself stupid for? I’m almost 100% certain that you’re not stupid at all. So, what questions do you have for me and don’t say you don’t because I’m 100% certain that you do and just so you know I will answer any and all questions you have for me. Don’t worry about sounding crazy or anything I won’t judge you I promise, he says then waits for me to speak. I turn around so fast that I almost lose my footing, but I quickly recover my balance and shooting a glare at him I say, “don’t you know not to sneak up on people when they’re in deep thought you damn near gave me a heart attack”. Then I slowly get my breathing under control then I say, “I do have some questions for you having to do with some stuff I heard while being held captive by Stephon, but I need your word that you won’t get mad, think I’m crazy, or anything like that and that you don’t lie to me, before I ask you”. “I give you my oath that I shall not get mad, think you’re crazy, or anything like that and I also give you my oath that I will always tell you the truth but you must know that sometimes the truth is sometimes hard to believe and that you might not like it either this I swear to you with my honor bound oath which I will always uphold because my honor is what makes me the person I am” he says then goes quiet waiting for me to speak.

“Ok first of all are you and your family werewolf’s? Why did Stephon keep calling you an Alpha? Why did he refer to me as your Mate? And lastly why did he call you family a Pack?” I asked in one big rush then waited for his answer hoping for I don’t know what kind of answer. “Yes we are werewolf’s, he called them my Pack because that’s what a group of werewolf’s living and fighting alongside are called, he called me an Alpha because that is my title I am the Alpha werewolf in my pack which means I am in charge of them all I guess you could consider it as being their King, and the last one is a little harder to answer because I’m afraid of what your answer will be, but it’s a question you deserve to know the answer to since you were captured and taken hostage because of it and maybe if I wouldn’t have been so scared and told you about everything you might not have been taken captive at all so here it goes he called you my mate because that’s what you are to me think of it as being my soul mate if that helps any, I shall accept whatever consequences comes from me not telling you sooner no matter what they may be” he says then looks down at the ground afraid to look me in the eye, I can honestly say the answer he gives me confused me even more than I was already and if I’m being honest with myself it kind of scared me as well.
