Chapter 13

Vinay's POV :

It's morning and doctor had finalized to discharge Samrita today. I went into his room to ask about the other restrictions like diet etc.

'Excuse me doc '

' Pls come in young man ' he said with a smile.

' Hello doc, i just came to ask about the restrictions that Samrita has to follow. Is she completely alright now? '

' She is perfectly alright now but she must be Careful for few days. She may get a headache now and then. Make her take tablets regularly and come here for the check up regularly. And about diet, there are no restrictions but let her take easily digestible food for few more days. '

' Thank you so much doc, we are leaving now ' i thanked him so gratefully and left the room.

I went into Samrita's room to check whether she is ready. She was ready, by that time. I, Vijay, Samrita and Anjana left the room and reached our car. I drove the car with Vijay sitting near me, Sam and Anjana were at the back seats. I don't wanna rash drive because she is not still perfectly alright. I gotta know this when she walked out of the room with high difficulties and came to car.

Samrita's POV :

We are all sitting inside the car and Vinay was driving the car. I was watching him through the rearview mirror.

Omg! His hazel brown eyes. I was literally drooling at him, i hope he doesn't notice me watching him like a baby waiting and watching it's piece of chocolate cake. He is such a baby. Till now he doesn't know that, i came to know that he likes me. The very thought of this brought a tingling feel in my heart as well as in my stomach.

He likes me, he cares for me And i guess i am repeating this for nth time in last one week within my mind. I barely know things about him but still my heart says that he is my prince charming. Those eyes say everything and am waiting for his lips to say those things. Those things that come straight from the bottom of one's heart, when he/she loves someone madly, deeply, truly, soul-ly, completely.

And he knows everything that i am staring at him through the rearview mirror. He noticed that i am watching his eyes, though i knew that i have to distract myself from that, it was impossible for me. With so much of difficulties, i turned towards my window and started seeing the road side.

We reached home in the next twenty minutes, inspite of the city traffic. Nevertheless to say about his driving skills!

We reached home. All others at home, asked me about my health and let me into the room to take rest. As i was sitting with Anjana and Kritika in our room, Vinay entered the room to say something,

'Samrita, Now i am leaving to office and if you want something, Kritika will be with you for the whole day and feel free to ask her ' he said in his usual voice filled with patience.

' Don't worry dude, she is free with me ' kritika said and winked.

'Yeah, don't worry Mr. Vinay. I will take care.' i said to him with an unusual smile.

'Okay girls! Then i am leaving. take care. ' he said and he made his way to office.

I don't really know what am i going to do the whole day. And to my goodness Kritika is here with me. I guess, i will get a chance to talk about Vijay. I hope so. He is so sweet, such a friendship material he is. He had become closer in these few days, i don't know what made me attached to him.

After Vinay had gone, Anju, I and Kritika were talking for sometime and then Anju decided to leave. Already she hadn't gone to work, since few days. So i had insisted her to join immediately on that day itself. As soon as she left, Kritika brought me the breakfast. I had my breakfast and i had no othet work to do. I and kritika started talking!

Through the conversation, i came to know that Kritika has no boyfriend or love till now. So, it is possible for Vijay to make her fall in love!!

Yes, i really wanted to help Vijay because of whom i came to know that Vinay has feelings for me. But it is not possible for me to talk to kritika about Vijay. It is his intelligence, to make her fall for him!

Slowly i asked her, 'Hey, Kritika. What do you think about Vijay?'

'Vijay?! Which Vijay?! ' she gave me a puzzled look!

' Uhh.. Vinay's friend, Vijay. '

'Oh. I don't know much about him! He comes home very rarely with Vinay. I have seen him with Vinay at office, but i don't really have any idea about him.' she said.. And asked, 'Why Sam?! Why this unexpected question.?!'

'Ahh.. Nothing. He is very nice. He helped Vinay a lot when he was in trouble for the past days. That's why!! '

' Of course, He is the one and only best friend of Vinay. So, obviously when a friend is in trouble, we got to help them. ' she said with a smile.

Oh my innocent girl!! He loves you with all he has. And if they get married, they will be the sweetest couple on the earth. Like in fairy tales, both of them are super cute!! Vijay is innocent, kind and most importantly same as Kritika. I hope she falls for him!!

Vinay's POV :

I thought of talking to Samrita as soon as we reached home. Nothing about my feelings, but generally like take care blah blah. But, she was with Anju and Kritika, so i couldn't speak much. I just asked her to be careful and asked kritika to take care of her. Then I and Vijay started towards office.

'So, now that your beloved wife is alright at home, Mr. Vinay Krishna you can come back to earth. ' Vijay said as he patted my back.

' Yes, She is alright now. I could feel it. But you know what, i couldn't resist myself from worrying, when she was in hospital. Finally, she is alright. ' I said with a smile.

' This is love. ' he said and looked at me.

As i didn't even say a word he continued,' Go and tell her what you feel for her. '

' Yes Vijay, I love her, I love her infinitely! But i don't think it's the right time to confess my love, because only now she is recovering from the accident and it will take time for her to, understand my feelings and accept my love. ' i said.

' This will happen soon dude. ' he said, giving me some hope. And this is why, people say that we need friends.

As soon as i entered my cabin, i got an important call. An ISD call!! Without any guess i accepted the call.

' Is this Mr. Vinay Krishna?! ' i heard a stylish male voice.

' Yes it's Vinay here. ' in a firm and yes-iam-the-boss voice.

' This is John Fedrick from New york times. I just called to inform you that the conference for the world's tope rated magazines will be held at New york, in another few days. You are requested to attend the conference and we have sent the other details, through mail. Kindly check. ' he said

' I am glad gentleman. Thank you so much. ' i said with happiness loaded voice.

Then i hung up and immediately asked Vijay to come into my cabin and informed hime about the conference.

' Vijay, We will be flying to New York soon. I am really happy that we have been selected as one the top rated magazines ' with a wide smile i told hime evrything.

' Cool Vinay. It an awesome news, in this morning. '

'Yes!! And we are going, i lifted my hand to give him a high-five.'

'But wait!! Why should i come with you? Are you mad?! ' he yelled at me.

' You are mad!! Then who else will come? You are coming and we are going. '

' Damn!! Take Samrita with you. You will get a chance to talk to her and she will get a chance to understand you!! '

'Wow!! Vijay!! You are awesome man. And this idea is superb!! But Samrita will not accept!!' i frowned my face by saying.

'Ha! Now go and tell her that, I have got some important work here at office and someone has to accompany you to NY. You just ask her as a help, if she could come. '

' Okay! I will ask her. But i am not sure about what will she decide. '

' Don't worry, the result will be positive. ' he said and winked.

I hope so!! And this is why Vijay is so awesome, he gives me wonderful ideas sometimes but in someother times, his ideas suck!! But this time, i don't think so. I feel like, i won't be having much difficulties in making Samrita to accept this!!
