Chapter 5

Samrita's POV :

Time is 11.05 am in the morning and am still in my bed. Anju had gone to her work early in the morning. I still didn't tell her about the meeting since she had left Soon to office. I texted her,

Hey Anju , got up just now. I forgot to inform you that i have to go n meet Mr. Vinay at Hayatt residency this evening. You are coming with me right?

I kept my phone upside down on my bed and went to take a shower. When i came back in another few minutes, i had got a text from her.

Sam, good morning :) No, i don't think i can accompany you to Hayatt residency. You go n come back carefully. And remember no sarcasm this time!! Okay? Tc. XX

I just replied that i had no problem if she is not coming with me, I lied. When, the person who had called me to meet itself is a problem, how will there not be any problem. I was worried that how am i going to face him alone. Like i have Anju with me, he also had one man with him. Yes!! VIJAY his name is . Goddd!!! He must be with him at the place when i go there. I don't know how am i going to face him!!!

Vinay's POV :

I was about to call Vijay into my cabin but he himself came in, to say something about the meeting that we had that evening. Before he started, i started talking, 'Hey, Vijay. We have an important work this evening. You are coming with me. Okay? "

" So you want me to cancel today's staff meeting .?! " he asked. And then i got to remember that we had a meeting that evening. But still I don't want to cancel the meeting with Samrita.

" Just call it off. We are going to meet Samrita. We both wanna discuss about our life after the registration of marriage. " i said carefully.

" So, why should i come?! " he winked

" See Vijay. I can't handle her all alone because she is already angry on me. And that girl is fully loaded with sarcasm. I can't handle it. " i said with a force. He understood my situation by seeing my reaction.

" Okay. Let's go. I will cancel the meeting. " He assured and then i started breathing normally. But still i was not sure about what to discuss with Samrita.

Calm down Vinay. She is not going to swallow you. Just think and rehearse yourself about what you are going to speak.

Samrita's POV :

I would always like to be punctual. But this time i don't really want to go and wait for him. Let him wait!!

Atlast, i got ready. I wore an orange with olive green color salwar. I had to hire an auto rickshaw to the Hayatt residency which is some two and a half kilometres from our apartment. I got down from the auto and stared at the hotel for 20 seconds. A star hotel it is!!

Why this much big hotel? He wants to show me that he has lots and lots of money it seems. He thinks that he could by everything and anything with money, i guess. I scolded him mentally and proceeded into the hotel.

There i saw Mr. Vinay Krishna waiting at the reception with his friend Vijay. He was looking handsome as always. Stop drooling at him Samrita. He is not yours and this is just a deal and most importantly he has no feelings for you. I thought and went towards them.

"Hello Mr. VINAY. " i said with no smile on my face.

" Hello Samrita. Thanks for coming. " he said with no reaction on his face.

And then i followed them to the table that he had already reserved for us. He ordered something for them and i refused that i don't want anything.

He started," I called you here to talk about some rules about the deal."

"Let me explain my side first Mr. Vinay. Can i? " i interrupted.

" Please continue, Ms. Samrita " he said as if he is giving me back all the misters i said.... How childish?!!!

"Thanks. First of all, i don't want the wedding to be so grand. Please make it as simple as possible. It is okay for me if it is in a register office. Secondly, the job for which i attended the Interview for is my dream job and i can't leave it. I will be joining your company after the registration of the wedding. " i said.

"I totally agree with you. I had told about the wedding thing at home and soon they will decide a date and i will inform you but before that you have to come to my home once so that you and my uncle, aunty can have an introduction. This is what i wanted to say. And the other things you, said yourself. So, that's done. I think we can get back to our respective works. "

" Okay. Thanks. And i am leaving. " i said and i left.

Vinay's POV :

I and Vijay were waiting for her at the reception of the hotel. Finally, she came. She wore an orange salwar. As she was nearing me, i stared at her eyes. Those eyes <3. Oh goddddd!!!

And then she interrupted and talked everything that i want to tell her. She said everything and i had nothing to say so i just said that uncle and aunty had invited her home one day. And after that she just said that she is leaving. I opened my mouth to say bye but she had left within a second even without saying a bye. As if i am her enemy. So mean.

Vijay kept quiet when all these happened. He was afraid because she used to talk with sarcasm. I guess so. Then we drove back home.

Samrita's POV :

I reached home and changed into my night time outfits. I was waiting for Anju to come back from work.

She came back after some time. And we talked for a long time that night. I was really worried that i have to leave Anju all alone in this lonely apartment and go with a selfish man who wants to use a girl for his welfare. But seriously i had no other way. I have to do this. Day by day the feelings i have for him had been increasing though i am angry on him. I have to wait to see in what it is going to end!
