Chapter 20

Samrita's POV :

I am totally awestruck. I don't know how did he came to know about my birthday, i don't know how and when did he shop this dress for me,i don't know when did he made this basket and kept it at the door and left. All of a sudden, these things in an array happened like a magic. And i am waiting for the sun to vanish. For godsake let this day come to an end soon. Because it was totally boring inside the suite room. Is there anyway to skip this whole day so that i could go to that evening part directly. Unfortunately, No!!

I read that note again and again and i am just smiling like i have never done before but then i remembered that i didn't even ask him where should i come for dinner. In midst of all these, i had totally forgotten to ask about this. I took my phone to text him but then he himself had sent that he had arranged a taxi and the hotel management will help me with this, he had told me to come to the Central Park.

Though it was really difficult to spend the whole day alone, it all had flewn away when the clock struck six. Finally, i got ready with that gorgeous dress that he had sent, had put on a little make up and lip gloss. Decided to wear a round golden earring that matched the belt of the dress. Soon grabbed my black clutcher and came out and locked the suite. Heading to the reception, i approched the receptionist lady to enquire about the taxi,

'Hello, This is Mrs. Vinay Krishna. My husband had booked a taxi for me, to go to The Central Park. Can i board the cab now? '

' Good evening pretty lady, oh yeah, you have your cab waiting outside. And just take this with you. Hope you have a good birthday ' she said with a smile and handed over a beautiful boquet of red roses in my hand and wished me a Happy birthday.

I thanked her with a wide smile and soon reached out of the Crisby street hotel and leaped into the taxi after asking whether it was the cab booked by Vinay. But when i entered the taxi, i saw something nearby me on the seat.

Oh my god! Another gift. Yes, there laid a small cube like purple color box with heart shapes everywhere spilt on it. Though the box was very beautiful in the way that i could not open it for few seconds, the curiosity made me to do it. I opened it slowly, and found an awesome thing inside it.

I found a glass cube attached to a flat glass covered fully with red satin cloth when i opened it, i could see my pictures inside the glass, to be more precise i could see various photos on each side of the cube. It's unbelievable man! How did he get my photos?! The number of questions to be asked to him, is increasing. And this one is really very awesome. The top cube was freely rotating so that i could rotate the cube and see my pictures. Though, i was smiling i couldn't control the tears rolling down. I don't know, he is making me special every time. I was unable to express all these feelings. Probably, the most happiest day in recent times. Soon, the cab reached the central park. I don't know, where should i go inside the park so i just got down from the cab and enquired the driver how much is the money that i have to pay for the cab.

'Your mister did it already, you don't have to. And Happy birthday lady ' the cab driver wished me with a smile.

Omg!! This Vinay had told everyone that today is my birthday and everyone are embarrassing me by wishing.

' Thank you so much ' i said and made a ear to ear smile towards him. I couldn't stop myself from start walking towards Vinay but where is he?! So, i took my phone out to call him. He attended the call in first ring told me to come inside the park and he said that he is waiting for me in the lake area of the Central park. I could stop my kegs from running, i was holding the boquet and the the photo cube in one hand and was holding my free flowing gown on the other hand. I rushed to the lake. I couldn't not find anyone there, and there were no lights. I could only see a path, that led to the lake area. I proceeded with loads and loads of love.

There, Vinay was stading in his black blazer. Handsome asusual. I neared him. 'Happy birthday Samrita' he said by facing me, with his hands spread wide.

'Thank you, thank you, thank you soooo much Vinay. I don't have words to express the joy that i had this whole day . Nothing can substitute it. Thank you so much Vinay. ' i said with all the expressions i could make.

'I am glad that you're happy, Just come with me'

With no more word, he held me hand and took me into a small wooden boat that was standing at the bank of the lake area. There were no lights anywhere and it was totally dark, with no doubts this is the reason why he came forward to hold my hand. How protective he is!! Soon we got into the boat.

The boat had it's majestic appearance with a floor top on the base of the boat. Two three steps led us to the top of the boat. He took me to the front corner of the roof of the boat and stood behind to close my eyes.

In seconds, i heard some noise soon he opened my eyes, i saw colorful firworks saying HBD SAMRITA on the sky, top to me. I am unable to believe my eyes, is it really happening?! I am blushing like i have never been, i am just flying like... I turned aside to see him, he was not there behind me. I just heard his voice....

'I don't know, when and how it happened. But somehow it happened. Yes, it happened to be me and you. The moment when you were struggling to come back alive, i realized that our relationship is something that hasn't to be left just like that. I got to realize that each part of me carries a little of you. Your smile is the reason behind my twinkling eyes. I found out that, you're my love, my life, my sunshine, my everything. I felt that, rest of my life should be shared with you. '

What's happening seriously?! Where is he?! All i could do is just hear his voice and feel tear drops on my cheeks. Though i was standing surrounded by darkness, i could feel some light in my heart and yeah, hope.

' I, Vinay Krishna has realized my immense love for you and had realized that you're the love of my life and yes, my life! '

As he said, the rain drop shaped small serial lights attached around the edge rims of the boat got its life and started glowing in blue and while colors. I felt like i had got a new light into my life. Of course it is!! When all the lights started glowing all i could see was my handsome hulk kneeling down infront of me, with his hands wide spread in air. I couldn't control my tears. I haven't been this much emotional before. He got up and made his steps towards me.

' I am deeply, genuinely, intensely, soul-ly, completely in love with you. I love you Samrita. '

And by now i just fell flat infront of my love and life. He confessed his love looking straight into my wet eyes expecting me to say something back. But he doesn't know that i had no words. All i could do was to smile with my whole face, go forward to hug him and wet his blazer with my tears.

I am leaning on his chest holding him around my arms tightly, and he is hugging me back by wrapping his hands around me and soothing my hair.

'Samrita... Don't cry. I want you to be happy alw... ' i shut his mouth with my fingers before he could finish his sentence.

' Sshhhh, Stay calm, Please don't talk. '

He didn't say anything after that. The hug tightened. It was a bone cracking hug. The hug all meant that we can't live without eachother. After few seconds, he kissed on the top of my head. Soon, i parted from him. I looked into his hazel eyes with my wet eyes and said 'I love you Vinay' and leaned forward to hug him again and closed my eyes.

'I love you too. ' he whispered in my ears.

Soon we parted and he led me to the dinning table to have our dinner. And then we had our food with smiles and stolen glances every now and then. When we finished our food, he came around to my back and made my chair turn to his side. He knelt down and took out a neat red satin small box out of his blazer pocket. He opened it, and got the ring out of it and made it into ny finger. The ring was as beautiful and sweet as his love.

'Wow, Vinay. This awesome. You're the best. Thank you so much. This is the best birthday ever. Thank you so so much for giving me this much of happiness in my life. '

He didn't even utter a word back but just smiled like he had done never before.

This smile is all made me to fall for you. Baby, you're my Popeye.

We soon came out of the boat and central park and came back to the hotel. And then both of us changed into night dresses. When i came out of the restroom after refreshing, we was sitting on the couch. I went and sat near by him and looked at him.

He looked at me and raised his eyebrows asking what. I looked at him and raised mine twice to ask what. He opened his mouth to say something, i interrupted and said 'I have to ask these many questions to you.' by spreading my hands to show how much did it mean.

'Questions? Ok, proceed ' he said and smirked.

' How did you know about my birthday?!'

'Do you remember the day when i got your passport?! At the airport?! 'he said and winked at me.

And now i can't stop blushing, just to hide it, i turned aside and leaned on his legs. (He was sitting, facing me on the couch so that i leaned on his legs in the same direction as he was). Soon, he parted his legs, with no support on my back, i had to fall on him. And now i am leaning on him, both of us are seeing the roof of the suite. He didn't let me ask any question after that, we were just talking about the things that we hadn't shared for these days.

His arms wrapping me, holding my fingers tight.

'This is the bestest birthday Vinay. Thank you so much. '

' Darling, do you know what else is special today?! '

' What?! ' i asked by seeing his face.

' Today is our sixth month anniversary. '

' So, it's been six months, since i met my prince charming. '

' Yeah ' he said and laughed.

I haven't seen so much of divinity in one's smile. Omg!! He is just ❤❤❤❤.

' Love you Vinay '

' I know '

' Don't ever leave me. '

' Baby, trust me. That'll never happen. '

With that we both dozed off, holding hands as it is.
