Jake’s POV
“Thank you Katie. So hey, I have to go help me dad with something. I’ll call you later. I love you,” I kiss her cheek and walk away.
I start my motorcycle and drive off. Stopping at the stop sign I look back. Katie is getting into her car. I can tell she is crying. I just hope I haven’t pushed her too far. I honestly love her. I love her more than anyone in the world. She is the only person I have left and I can’t lose her.
I won’t lose her.
I turn left at the stop sign. My house isn’t far so hopefully I can get there in time and my dad won’t get angry at me. He has actually been okay lately. He hasn’t lashed out at me or Danni.
