Lena’s Pov
Heaven feels real tonight. I am curled up against Jaxon, still glowing from what we just shared. The bathtub is sprinkled with rose petals, warm water around us, and my body feels light, almost floating. Happiness hums quietly inside me.
A smile slips onto my face. “That was…” I bite my lip, unable to finish the sentence as my heart continues to race.
Jaxon laughs softly and pulls me closer against his chest, his skin warm and smelling faintly of soap and him.
“Pretty amazing?” he says.
“Yeah,” I whisper back, my voice barely there.
