CHAPTER SIX

JANE’S POV

I got back home after a long day at the office , I sat on the desk in my study lost in thoughts when I suddenly remembered TINDER . Should I give it a try .. I thought to myself , after a long time , I decided to try it out . I opened the tinder app on my phone and swiped to the right making I and the guy from the bar a match , I opened my f*******: and accepted his friend request; I forced myself to send him a message, I waited all night for his reply but it never came ; Alas I fell asleep .

The sun rays woke me up , I checked my phone to see if he replied but no message from him yet — I sighed — I got up and had my shower , I wanted to something light so I wore a pair of black pants, a white crop top and a pink and white jacket to match , I looked at the mirror and applied a little makeup after which I grabbed my black leather hand bag , wore a pair of black hills and walked out of my room .

I was about leaving when I heard mom’s voice from behind .

“Leaving already honey “

“Yes mom I have a meeting to attend to “ I replied .

“But you haven’t had breakfast yet “

“Don’t worry mom , I’ll something to eat at the office “ I replied as I dashed out of the house to avoid more questions.

I got to the office and met a file on my desk — he knew how to get a job done — I smiled . I sat down and carefully opened the file . His name is Wesly macarthy , CEO Mac Renovation and Interior Designs , he has a resort at East Bay , California and two hotels here in Beverly City. Wow !! .

I picked up my phone and called Daisy .

“Hey baby” she said from the other end .

“Hey hon” I replied “I’ve got news “ I said .

“Spill it “ she said in excitement, she’s always had a thing for gossip , Gossip is her love language.

“So the mystery guy from the bar is the CEO of Mac Renovation and interior Designs”

“What ??”

“Yes , and he is going to be my groom “

“You are joking right “ she sounded serious.

“Nope , it’s just going to be for six months after which we get divorced “

“Are you sure you can cope with him for six months ??” She asked

“Of course , what’s the worse that could happen “ I already made up my mind and I’m going to endure whatever comes out of it .

“If you say so “ she said before she hung up .

“Hmmmmm “ I breathed a sign of relief , I just have to get ready for my meeting.

WESLY’S POV

I took my bath immediately I got home had some rest and left for the office , I just didn’t want to think about the terrible mistake I made the night before — Dear God please don’t let her get pregnant please God — the last thing I needed right now was a baby it would ruin my reputation .

I looked at the time; it’s almost 2pm , I tidied the files on my desk and drove off .

I got to sunshine’s coffee place at 1.45pm, she isn’t here yet so I have enough time to relax . Just then a black Maybach pulled up and she stepped out of the car looking gorgeous; damn I was getting lost again .

“Mr Wesly right ?” She asked and stretched her right hand for a handshake .

“Yes , nice to meet you miss Jane “ i replied.

“So you wanted to see me ?”

“Yes , I believe we can both help each other out “

“Of course , I heard you need a bride and we’ll I need a groom” she replied, she spoke with so much elegance and etiquette.

“That’s correct , so what is the way forward “ I asked , I didn’t really expect the conversation to be like this but who cares .

“I already drafted out a contract with my lawyer , we get married and divorce after six months, that would be enough for us to close the deals we have pending , what do you think “ she asked .

“It’s perfect , so when are getting married ?”

“First things first I have to meet your mom and you’ll meet mine , both families have to get acquainted before the wedding date is fixed , so it won’t look too fake “

“Okay , we could lie that we’ve been friends from college “ I suggested.

“Sure , so do we have a deal ?”

“Yes , we do “ I shook her hand .

“I’ll see you some other time ? And be sure to keep in touch okay??”

“Yeah sure “ I said, all the while staring at lips, boobs and ass .

We said our goodbyes and she walked out . I called Daniel immediately.

“Hello boss , how was it ?”

“Good , get ready you have a wedding to plan “. I Hung up and smiled as I watched her get into her car. Can’t wait to have you in my bed .
