“Hey Bennett.” Webb opens the door and I see Colby and Clint playing a game on the couch.
They call out their hellos before turning back to the game.
“Up for a round Bennett?” Clint calls out.
“Would much rather do that than this bullshit I’m about to walk into. Maybe when we get done. I’ll need to blow things up.”
“Definitely. Game night is on tonight. We’ll invite Manny too.” Colby says.
I turn to Webb “she ok?”
“Nervous. But she’s tough.”
I agree. My baby sister is tougher than anyone else I know. She’s dealt with more than anyone should have to recently. I’m still pissed that Ryan is in a mental treatment facility instead of prison. But she’s moving away from here and Webb takes good care of her. She graduates in four days and he’s taking her on a much needed vacation f
