Star POV
I wake wrapped in warmth. Slowly opening my eyes, light barely comes in through the windows, indicating the rising sun.
I am lying on Tony’s chest, and I feel Max at my back, wrapped around me. I raise my head, kissing Tony’s shoulder and gently removing Max’s hand from my hip as I slide down the bed.
“What are you doing?” Comes Max’s gruff morning voice. “The bathroom, then I need to get started on my day,” I say, leaning over and kissing the back of his head. Surprisingly, it feels like a natural action. I did it without conscious thought.
Walking into the closet, I pull out a pair of camo pants, then get my undergarments and a fitted tank top. As I go into the bathroom, I cast a smile at Max and Tony, who is now awake. “Buongiorno,” (good morning) I say.
