Elder....What was an elder doing here?! Elders were extremely old and wise wolves, for some reason the Gods had allowed certain wolves to live centuries longer than most. I don't mean 100 years old, more like 300 to 500 years old. These wolves were blessed by the Earth Goddess, the Moon God and Sun God. How a wolf discovered they were to be an elder was something that was shrouded in mystery, only those who became elders knew. Once an elder was identified they were sent to live at the temple of elders, and it was considered a great honor to become an elder. Typically an elder was identified before a mate was found, and sometimes elders were mated with other elders. One thing was certain, elders were infertile.
