CHAPTER 5: Married

Lee: it was just about time to get married and I can’t seriously get the face of that bride I helped out of my head and to make it worse my heart won’t stop beating for a total stranger pff…

It was time the door to the hall opened I walked majestically and gracefully with confidence to the alter I could see people staring at me whispering hysterically into each other ears, some even drooling and undressing me with their eyes. They must have been expecting to see a monster with two horns if an old ugly duckling with pot belly too bad I disappointed them. Not a least bothered by their stares and whispers I walked to the alter where the priest was standing waiting. Once there the bride was announced.

Yuna: i was motioned to enter Jisoo gave me a reassuring smile I left her behind to walk inside. Now I was all on my own. Taking a deep breath 😮‍💨, I strode inside the hall carefully, and immediately all heads turned to look at me. I walked witch my head high but kept my gaze low only looking at the floor until I reached where Minji and Minjun were I felt my legs tremble but there was this undeniable whispers that was going on, some kept staring at me at it can’t just be because of my beauty right? A lady even said cute couples but unfortunately the husband is a demon I couldn’t just comprehend why some girls were really staring at me with envious eyes including Minji hers was even much more scary. I just couldn’t believe they were unbothered about the fact that I’m being married off to some devilish stranger . I accepted my fate hence and decide to proceed to the alter where I could see my husband silhouette although his back was facing it wasn’t that bad for the eyes I thought to myself on reaching the alter I looked down quickly and rubbed my hands together nervously as I felt the knots in my stomach return. I wanted to look up but was afraid. What if I didn’t like wat in saw ? Wat if the rumors were true?

Lee: I didn’t understand why she wouldn’t look up or look at me she was busy rubbing her hands nervously could it be she also believed the rumors or she isn’t pretty suddenly I saw her trying to look up before I could avert my eyes our eyes met I could see the shock in her eyes and i was also shocked but was quick to conceal it I didn’t noticed the weeding dress she was bride from earlier on the bride that has been invading my space for a while.

Yuna: i decided to take a look after giving myself so much courage, slowly I glance up and our eyes met my heart hammered in my chest that I almost gasped shock évident on face. He was the man I saw earlier we stared at each other a while before averting our gaze. After the priest was done with his reciting he said

Priest: Mr Lee jaewook do you take Miss Yuna wei as your lawful and wedded bride? Do you promise to be faithful in good times and bad times,In sickness and health to love and cherish her all the days of your life unto death do you part ?

Lee: Yes I do

Priest: Miss Yuna wei would you take Mr lee jaewook as your husband? Do you promise to be faithful in good times and bad, for better or for worse for richer or poorer in sickness and health to love and honor him all the days of your life?

Yuna: this was what my dad has been waiting for all the days of his life but unfortunately he couldn’t make it to this very day I was lost in my own thought when I heard the priest coughed slightly Yes…yes..I do I stammered… he took both my hand and my husbands own joining it together saying

Priest: are you prepared as you follow the part of marriage to love and honor each other for as long as you both live?

Couple: I am

Priest: since it’s your intention to enter the convenant of the Holy Matrimony, with your right hands joined with the declaration of your consents before God and his church I declare you both husband and wife you may kiss the bride.

Lee: we both turned and looked at each other I admit she part of the most beautiful lady I have ever met. I took a step forward and kissed her to my surprise her lips were soft and tasted like strawberries I couldn’t resist the urge to taste more and tease her but before I could she redrew her lips I adjusted myself trying to control my urge.

Yuna: his lips landed on mine and he tasted good he’s masculine cologne clouded my brain and he so good at kissing but I needed to catch my breath so I withdrew sadly he adjusted himself to and we descended the alter hands in hands the crowd began to clap once outside we found the seat meant for us and the Dj began playing music the guests danced to it. Don’t you like music? He asked, breaking the awkward silence. I peeked through my long lashes but once I gazed into he’s eyes it was hard to look away he’s eyes were captivating. I do I replied expecting him to propose but he didn’t. After the exchange of gifts, we were meant to go our separate ways and not to leave to together after all it is an arranged marriage but to my dismay not only would I be living with him I’m to follow him home at once. The knot in my stomach returned with such intensity that I felt like throwing up.

Jisoo : everything would be fine don’t worry just remember what I told you I became closer to her then whispered even if he’s the richest man if he dares make you unhappy tell me I would avenge you, and if you can’t stand him again my house gate is always wide open to accept you. You can always run away from this marriage u know it’s not too late. I said to her 😏

Yuna: i won’t fgt I told her chuckling slightly before enveloping her in a tight hug. I might never see her again. The Mercedes Benz C- Class tainted car was waiting outside already. He led the way I looked behind and saw jisoo waving which I returned with a smile once in the car I took one last look and found jisoo closed to the door, her cheeks wet with tears ‘‘I would miss you too’’ I whispered. We first rode to the bureau of marriage to get our marriage certificate where we were asked to stand for a picture with a hand in his pocket and the other other my waist one might really think we’re couples in love but his cold aura and frown just ruined it I couldn’t smile too making the picture look so simple and forced even if it was though😅looking at the marriage certificate with our pictures in it just leaves me speechless 😶 so I’m married for real. With that being done we came out.
