"I married you out of pity. You deserve to be a substitute wife to replace Fiona," he replied firmly, without any guilt or pity.
"What? So everything you did was fake? I did everything with all my heart. I'm trying to be the perfect wife and daughter-in-law, but you've only thought of me as a replacement wife." She slapped Morgan; his words hurt her heart.
"How dare you slap me?" Morgan was so angry that he retaliated against Alice by grabbing her tightly by the neck.
"Morgan, let go of me! You're sick!"
"Don't go crazy, Morgan. You can't commit domestic violence. Let Alice go; she's still your wife now," Fiona, who was next to them, persuaded the angry Morgan.
"Look, Alice, it's Fiona, the third person you consider, but she defends you. I will marry Fiona and get you out of this house immediately." Morgan was furious.
"Why did you have to marry her? We've been married for four years; isn't there an ounce of love in your heart for me? "How can you say so cruelly that you divorced me for this woman? What did I do wrong, Morgan?" Alice asked.
"I love Fiona. Don't ask so many questions; hurry up and cook for me. Otherwise, I will keep you cooped up in this house, even if I divorce you," Morgan said solemnly.
"I'll cook for you. Go and leave me alone."
Alice wanted to fight Morgan, but she couldn't because she owed him a favor. She stayed with Morgan because he was the only one she had when everyone else left her in the past.
Alice repaid Morgan's kindness by being the perfect wife for him, but she was only considered a surrogate woman. When Alice was done cooking, they had breakfast together.
Morgan ate first and then said, "What is this food? Why does it taste sweet? Are you deliberately making me angry again?" Morgan threw the food on the floor.
"What exactly do you want? If you don't like my cooking, then just throw it all away!" Alice was angry; she picked up all the food that was on the table and then slammed it in front of Morgan.
"You dare to throw away food and fight me now? What good are you to me? I paid you to live in luxury for four years, but you can't even cook for me. Just replace all the money I've spent on you so far, you useless woman," Morgan insulted his wife.
"Enough, Morgan! You're... you're too much. I'll reimburse you one day." Alice could not continue to be insulted like this, especially in front of Fiona.
Fiona was so happy when Morgan always scolded Alice. Morgan went to work for his company because he was the CEO of the Alexander Diamond Company, which was known as a leading company and had various branches in several countries. Meanwhile, Fiona didn't go to work because she took the day off to move her belongings to Morgan's house.
"Alice, how does it feel when the husband you love doesn't even look at you? Wake up! Get out of his life," she proudly declared.
"You're just a seductress; don't bother me. Morgan will find out one day that you're just a woman pretending to be nice," she replied in an angry tone.
"How dare you say I'm a temptress?" Fiona slapped Alice.
"You... dare to slap me too?"
Alice slapped Fiona's cheek back and pulled her hair at the same time, then she walked away to the backyard.
In the evening, Morgan had just come home from work. He found Alice watching television in the living room. He took Fiona with him to see Alice.
"Sign the divorce papers right now! Hurry up! Otherwise, I won't give you any compensation. I'll also make it impossible for you to get a job in this country, so obey me! Don't refuse this divorce!" Morgan threatened Alice.
"What are you saying, just coming home from work and saying something so hurtful and threatening to me?" Alice looked at Morgan's face.
Morgan took out the divorce papers he had taken from Alice's room.
"Hurry up and sign the divorce papers." Morgan roughly grabbed Alice's hand and forced her to hold the ballpoint pen to sign the divorce papers immediately.
"No! Let go of me. Why are you forcing me?"
"I told you to stop talking." Morgan slapped Alice.
"It hurts, Morgan! Fine, I'll sign the divorce papers. I'm giving up because you're so cruel now. Just because I love you doesn't mean you can bully me like this." Alice immediately signed the papers brought by Morgan.
"Good! Pack your things right now. Leave this house! From the moment you sign this divorce agreement, you are not my wife." Morgan forcibly dragged Alice into her room to pack her things.
"Let go of me! I'm leaving this house. I will never come back to this house again. I hope you don't regret it someday; you chose him over me." Alice brushed off Morgan's hand when they reached the front of the room.
It was with a heavy heart that Alice had to leave the house she had shared with Morgan for the past four years. She picked up her suitcase and packed her clothes and all her belongings. There, Alice took a picture of Morgan in a small frame.
"I have loved you since the first time you helped me in the past, Morgan. As long as you live, I can only talk to your picture. I have to forget you; I don't want to be a stupid woman who stays because of love but gets hurt all the time."
It had been an hour since Alice packed her things. After that, she carried a large suitcase and was going to meet Morgan, but she was stopped by Fiona.
"I'm the winner; the woman in Morgan's past clearly owns his heart. You're just a replacement woman," Fiona frowned slightly.
"Feel this! Before I leave, I want you to feel the pain too." Alice slapped Fiona repeatedly.
"Auhh... you... stop it! How dare you slap me?" Fiona was angry, and she pushed Alice.
When Alice was pushed, she fell to the floor. She fainted, and only then did Morgan arrive.
"What's wrong? Why did she faint?" Morgan asked.
"I think she might be tired," Fiona replied.
Morgan called the nanny aunt to help Alice. As the nanny aunt helped Alice, who had fainted, there was blood dripping from Alice's thigh.
"Mr. Morgan, there's blood. Miss Alice, she... she..."
"What's wrong with this woman again?"
