MAKING CHOICES

608 Words
A choice is being able to choose between two or more things or possibilities, be it either choosing between a car or food, between good and evil or between heaven or hell. God has given us the will to be free, and to live our life the way we desire. Life presents many choices, the choices we make determines our future, therefore we must be wise with what we choose because it may determine our future. One must not just choose anyhow without thinking twice about it, nor must one be forced to choose that which he or she does not want unless they are children. Everything comes with a catch I think by now you know that, the catch that comes with the gift to choose is that you will be responsible for the outcome of what you had chosen, be it either a good or bad outcome. Taking responsibility for the outcomes of your choice does not mean when the outcome of your choice is bad you must not blame it on God asking him why he never interfered or anyone else telling them it is there fault. If someone gave you an opinion on what to choose then you listened to them but then things went sideways don't put the blame on them, remember they gave there opinion you are the one who chose to listen to them. My point is talking responsibility means not blaming anyone for your wrong choices and try by all means to own your negative and positive consequences of your choice. Life is a matter of choice and every choice you make, makes you. For example you choose to pay attention in class you will have good grades and if you don't pay attention in class you will have bad grades, as simple as that. choices play a big role in our lifes and God is apart of those choices. In genesis we hear God created man and woman and God gave them the ability to choose. God giving man the choice to choose did not mean that God will let his people go astray because God's his love is unconditional whether you disobey him or not God will still love you. But that doesn't mean we should take advantage of that unconditional love. God does not take away that ability to choose, but he shows us the correct path and leaves it up to us to choose, that's how much God loves us, that he would never want us to go astray. From the story of Solomon in the bible we hear that Solomon asked for wisdom and God gave him . And so one day there were two women who were arguing about a baby, arguing that the dead baby doesn't belong to either of them. solomon wanted to see whose baby it was then, he told one of the guards to bring him a sword and ordered for the alive boy to be cut into half, before the child was cut into half, the real mother of the alive baby full with love in her heart for her son told the king to give the baby to the other woman. Solomon ordered for the baby to not be killed then the child was given to the first woman who was the real mother of the alive child. The true mother of the alive baby, loved her child so much that she proposed to give away the child in order to protect him. The same love that the mother had for her son is the one God has for us that he cannot bear see us go astray.
