Sloane
I walked until I reached where they all stood, their eyes watching me as I got closer. My fingers tugged at the edge of the skirt, pulling it down as I reached them.
“Sloane,” Dean greeted, something like hunger grew in his eyes.
“Dean. I hope I'm not too late.”
“You're just at the right time, mami,” Hunter said, taking me aback.
Wow… that's… new.
I was about to say something when a lady with sharp red hair used two spoons to jam on each other, creating a noise that caught everyone's attention.
“Hey y’all! Thank you all for coming to our party. It's been a blast and I just want to specifically thank our Alphas,” she said, turning to us. “Alpha Dean, Alpha Logan, and Alpha Hunter. Thank you guys for showing up.”
“Anything for you, Viv,” Logan said, catching a kiss as she blew it his way.
Why did I hate that? It made my heart bang loudly in a not-so-appropriate way.
I looked forward, shaking the thought from my head. They pulled out chairs for everyone as we sat around a large, long circular table.
The music died down as people moved closer, grabbing chairs to sit on. The girl placed a beer bottle in the middle of the table.
“So… we are going to play a little game,” she smirked, staring at everyone, then her eyes landed on me. She sized me up, calculating like the many others in the pack. But this wasn't from distaste, it was curiosity.
I held onto my drink, pouring everything down my throat as I swallowed a large gulp.
“Spin the bottle. I'm sure everyone already knows how the game works. I'm going to spin the bottle and whoever it lands on, one of you has to ask the other truth or dare…”
People nodded in agreement, some leaning in to start the game. The triplets took seats beside me, with me in the middle of them.
“Ready?” she asked, and everyone nodded. She spun, and it immediately landed on me and some blonde dude who had a nasty smile on his face.
“Truth or dare?” he asked, smiling ear to ear as he sized me up, his eyes on my breasts as he licked his lips.
“Dare,” I said. It was the normal thing I would always pick whenever I played these kinds of games.
“I dare you to kiss me in the closet.”
“Can I choose something else?” I asked, appalled by the guy. He looked like some kind of hungry wolf looking for meat or bone to devour.
It creeped me out.
“No, you've picked dare and you should stick with it. Those are the rules,” the girl said.
I swallowed, slowly standing until Dean's hands held my wrist, stopping me.
“Change the rules then.”
“But Alpha—”
He c****d his head to the side, looking at everyone who dared not meet his eyes. They spun the bottle again and this time, I picked truth.
Thirty minutes in and the game was going well until it wasn't. I couldn't perform any dare with anyone and the triplets? They sat down beside me, brooding like they owned me.
It started getting annoying and slowly I became irritated. I watched everyone have fun while they played, but I sat there like a big, fat rock. Doing nothing. Not even drinking.
Annoyed, I stood up swiftly and walked out of the frat house. I had no idea the three of them stood up and followed me. I walked down the lonely road while the three of them were behind me.
When we were far from the party, I stopped and turned to face them.
“Why do you keep following me?”
“Oh, now she's mad,” Hunter said this time, and I just rolled my eyes, folding my arms across my chest.
“You didn't let me play the game so you might as well go back to it,” I said, pointing in the direction of the frat house.
They looked at me as if I'd suddenly grown two heads, and without warning, they walked toward me.
With each slow step they took, my heart beat faster than ever. Under the moonlight they looked graciously good, as if they had just fallen out of a Disney cartoon.
“Do you think we were going to let you play that game with some guy?” Hunter asked.
I swallowed, trying so hard to act tough. But I was shaking like a wet dog.
“It was just a game.”
“Not to us, little one.” They were close now; I could smell their intoxicating scent. They smelled of expensive cologne and man.
Fuck. Me.
Hunter stared right at me, and slowly his eyes trailed down between my thighs. I could see the hunger in each of their eyes. Dean's eyes were on my face and Logan's were fixed on my large breasts, where my cleavage showed gracefully.
“You were never going to play that silly game. We don't share what's ours.”
“I'm not yours,” I said, but Dean just held me by the neck, shaking his head.
“Yes, you are,” he growled. “And it should stay that way. Now… let's play a little game.”
I tried to swallow, instead, bile rose in my throat.
“Truth or dare, little one?” Logan asked. My back touched the tree as I held on to the trunk for dear life.
“Dare,” I whispered, my legs shaking not from fear but from need. It felt like I needed this. I needed to do whatever they said, and that excited me.
“Good choice.” Hunter came this close now; he bent down so his lips brushed my ear while he wore that sinister glint on his mouth.
“We dare you to run.”
“Just… t-that? What happens if you catch me?” I asked, prepared this time. My pulse hammered in my chest as I got ready to run.
The insides of my body churned with nothing but pure want.
“If we catch you,” Dean started, “we won't be able to get ourselves off you.”
I swallowed hard, breath raspy this time.
“What if I want that?” I asked, my voice barely a whisper.
“Then you still have the chance to run.”
They placed their hands in their pants pockets and took a step back.
“One,” all of them said.
“Two,” I looked around the bush. There was nowhere to run. Everywhere was dark and I don't have a wolf like they do.
“Three.”
I sprinted, leaving them behind as I ran through the bushes, the adrenaline rush flowing through my body.
