Sloane I stood outside the pack's hospital, my CV in hand, clutched to my chest as if it were my lifeline. Dean had called Lillian beforehand and he promised it would be an easy ride. Yet I was here, shaking in my pants. I was hella nervous. I had only ever worked in the Crimson Pack hospital and nowhere else, so this nervousness should be excused. I clutched my paper harder, swallowed loud enough for people to hear, and said a silent prayer before I walked in. The opulent décor and large space were the first things I noticed.
