I walked out of the car, following Gen. When we both got to the gates, they opened after she put in the password. We walked past the fountain until I spotted Hunter hanging around. He had his back against the pillar, leaning on the solid block, both arms tucked under each other.
I slowed down when I spotted him and then told Gen to go on and wished her good night. She gave me a large hug and left me with Hunter. I took a pause, said a singular prayer before I strode to where Hunter stood.
He looked like he wasn't in any mood ready to talk to me so I changed my mind. I moved forward, about to walk in when I heard him call after me.
