Because they had never given her anything in return. Not really. They hadn' t cared. They had given her love. But, it wasn't enough. She needed more.
More than just love. And so, she was going to make sure that nobody ever felt the same way about her ever again.
She would protect them. And she would protect them forever.
So, she would continue to walk until she reached wherever she was going. She would keep walking until she reached wherever it was that she was going.
And if she never ran into anybody else, then it would be fine. She would be fine. Because, she knew that she would always be together with him. She would always be by his side. Forever.
Because, after all, they belonged together.
