Hogg wandered the labyrinth of caverns that crossed Andreas Mountain and Hound territory. He seemed to be walking for hours, day’s even, and there was no change in the air, a slight breeze for him to follow, a light to guide his eyes, not even the humidity... He cursed as he realized how stupid he was. The dawm thing was cursed. Obviously, it made a lot of sense. He had been so mad and afflicted that he didn’t even think of the possibility.
He was tired and beaten, he needed sleep. Usually, he could go for days without a wink, but his body seemed to still be adjusting to his new size.
He stumbled into something.
- Better if I stop. No one is here anyway. - he sighed, sat with his back against the wall with his knees bent and crossed his arms on top of them, making a cushion for his head.
Fucking god’s, why didn’t they let me be? Sick of this shit...
Why did she protect him? Because Téra asked her? And why did he? It was all very confusing and annoying. He hadn’t been able to get a single straight answer from anybody since he had woken up in that dreadful flesh meat suit she had ordered for him. And why the hell had she gone to all that trouble for it?
What kind of hard on did she have for... no... s**t, no.
Hogg rose up and started kicking at the rock he had just stumbled on. Disintegrating it into dust. And since that one was gone, he let out his rage on the cave wall. The wall came down with one punch, revealing another chamber, one filled with light bluish light coming from a glowing pond.
He coughed, as the dust settled down and his eyes adjusted to the light, he was able to see inside. Pushing some of the left-over rocks off the way, he clumsy entered the chamber.
The air was thicker, but still there was no breeze.
The fish inside the pond glowed in slightly different variations of blue. And were about a meter long in length, twenty centimeters in girth. How deep that pond went and if it had a way out, he was yet to see. But at least there was no other way in than the one he had himself punched in.
The water was crystal clear and lukewarm. The whole thing was about forty square meters of open space. With no signs of life other than fish.
There was at least one thing he liked about this situation, he was no longer weak. That wall was thick. Real thick.
His anger transformed itself into curiosity and he questioned himself about what else he would be able to do. Had he only been given strength? Or had he inherited something more from his neglecting parent?
