The journey to MacLeod Castle took most of the evening on foot. Alpha Kai did not want to chance either of the men being shifted. He did not believe them to be dim-witted enough as to try to attack when they were completely out numbered, but one never knew.
The large group walked through the castle gate. The castle looked deserted besides a few torches that had been lit to brighten their path up the steps and into the great hall. In the great hall, a large fire crackled in the fireplace on the other side of the room. Alpha Kai walked to the fire as everyone was brought into the center of the room. Liam and Rory were force to their knees by three of the wolves who had shifted back into their human forms.
