The next morning, Liam rose early in order to meet with Leith. He needed to confirm that his second mate would be coming along and that everything would be ready for them to depart in the next few days. Leith, of course, confided that his wife was not happy about the idea, but once Leith explained the entire situation, she was more understanding.
