Obviously exhausted, Cassandra rolled down the car glass letting in the fresh air,a sign of coming rain. Not far from the parking lot was the scene of the street hustle and bustle. A scene she got mesmerized with, she has seen it thousand times, but it never got old.
She let in a heavy sigh before letting in the good and bad times of the street memories she once lived. In oblivion, she failed to notice the clouds gathering themselves for a better wet day. The cold droplet begun to splash at the windshield. Like a wild chase, everything went side ways.
All her life is filled with wallowing in memories, that keep her stumbling from one block of frustration to another.
A droplet good enough brought her back into reality,a place she can not run away from. Startled she rolled up the glass, started the engine with no place in mind. All she had to tell herself was that she was running from the past.
The road leading to nowhere was empty, just like she love it. A moment of silence drive was all she needed to clear her mind. The right time to do some thinking was now.
What ever it was,it keeps her running. She told herself.
