So, it’s been 2 hours since my mom asked if I wanted to have a girls day. So, I come down the stairs, and mom is baking. Mom, aren’t we supposed to have the girls day like you suggested, I said. Oh, I am so sorry sweetheart, I totally forgot. Let me get dressed and take the cookies out of the oven they just got done, and then we can head out, my mom said. Ok, I’ll be in my room, I said. Oh, mom I forgot to ask if I could go boating this weekend since it’s almost summer, and we still haven’t went to the lake, to go boating at all. Mom said, who are you going with, I know your not going by yourself. Mom I was just getting ready to ask if Asher could go with me. Oh yes, he can go with you, y’all would make such a cute couple. You should really think about dating him, honey. I mean our families have been friends since you and him were born, my mom said. Mom, I don’t know if it is a good idea, and besides we are just friends. I wish we were more then friends( I thought in my head).

So my mom and I finally go to get our nails done. I got navy blue, with the accent color of teal on my ring and pointer fingers. Mom just got a nude color to match her skin. After, we went to the mall, mom let me get these cool vans, they were super cute. The design was checkered, with roses as part of the design. We went to some other stores, because I had to get my dress for graduation. Since that is coming up in like 2 weeks. I am so ready to be out of school.

I found a dress finally for graduation, it’s white with lace and right about my knees. The shoes I found are 4 inch white heels, we head back to the house, and I my dings, and it’s Asher I don’t think my face has ever lit up so fast. He said he is free this weekend and he can go. He also asked if both of our families could go. I asked mom if she had plans this weekend, because Asher suggested both of our families, should go. She said, that she was free, and we all could go. She just has to see, what dad is doing. My dad is at work right now, so my mom will probably just talk to him when he gets home from work.

I text Asher back, and told him that mom was free but she has to talk to dad to see if he is doing anything Saturday. Asher replied, ok hot stuff, I’ll see you then on Saturday. I felt my face turning red. My mom looks and me and she said why are you blushing, honey if it’s Asher then I think you need to scoop him up right now before any other girl can! Mom, I don’t think he likes me at all I think he is just being a stinker, and flirting anyway.

My sister Cierra, just got home from school it’s 5pm, she had cheerleading try outs. Well, I see you didn’t go to school today, Cierra said! Mom why do you let her skip and not me, I always have to go even if I am late. Honey, your sister woke up late the morning, and I just let her stay home, because then she could find a dress for graduation, mom said! You are so unfair, UGHHH. Cierra storms to her room, and slams the door. Meanwhile, perfect timing my dad just walked in the door. Hey dad, how was work. It was ok sweetheart, he said to my mom. Heyyy, my little soon to be graduate. What’s up! Hey dad, I’m 17 not 3, I said. I know I know, I just don’t want you to grow up, you will always be my little girl, he said. I know I will always be your little girl, I love ya dad.

Sweetheart, Asher and Ashlyn, they planned a get together to go boating this weekend on Saturday, with both of our families. My mom stated. Ok, that’s good, cause I’m almost done with my work for this week, my dad said. I texted Asher and said that dad is free too. He responded perfect! All of my family is free also, I will see you Saturday babe.

I don’t know why he keeps calling me all these different things it’s like he is trying to hint something. Oh, gosh what if he is trying to hit he wants to start dating or something. Ahhhh!
