CHAPTER 1.3

As they traveled together, Kael's group and Raiden's group began to get to know

topics.

to the ground, unconscious. When he woke up, he found himself alone, with his

group and the village nowhere in sight.

But he knew he couldn't give up. He had to keep fighting, even if it meant doing it

alone. So he drew his sword and charged forward, facing wave after wave of

monsters that seemed to come out of nowhere.

As the battle raged on, Kael began to feel his strength fading. He was

outnumbered and outmatched, but he refused to give up. He thought of his group

and the village, of the people he had sworn to protect, and pushed himself to

keep fighting.

Finally, he reached the boss of the monsters, a towering beast with power that

rivaled the gods. Kael knew that he was outmatched, but he refused to back

down.

The boss of the monsters could have killed Kael easily, but instead, it chose to

make him suffer. It toyed with him, inflicting wounds that seemed to never heal,

making him feel pain beyond anything he had ever experienced. Kael's body was weak and battered, but his spirit remained unbroken. He knew

that if he fought back, the boss of the monsters would destroy the village and his

group. So he endured the pain and refused to give in.

As he lay there, covered in blood, his group suddenly appeared, shocked at the

sight before them. They asked Kael what had happened, but he simply smiled and

said, "Nothing happened. I'm fine."

They could see that he was anything but fine, but they didn't press the matter.

They knew that Kael had sacrificed everything for them, and they were grateful

beyond words.

From that day on, Kael's sacrifice became a legend, a symbol of bravery and

selflessness that inspired others to fight for what they believed in. And though

Kael never spoke of that day again, his group and the people of the village knew
