Chapter 4 : The Search for the Oracle

Kael and his team of warriors had finally obtained the Key of the Ancients, but their mission was far from over. They knew that the next step was to seek the guidance of the Oracle, a powerful being who held the knowledge of the ancient prophecies.

With the Key in hand, Kael and his team set out on a journey to find the Oracle. They had heard that the Oracle resided deep in the mountains of the east, in a temple that was hidden from the world.

The journey was treacherous, with steep cliffs and dangerous animals lurking around every turn. But Kael was determined to find the Oracle, no matter what the cost.

As they made their way through the rugged terrain, Kael couldn't help but think about Char. He missed his friend dearly, but he knew that Char's sacrifice had not been in vain. The Key of the Ancients was proof of that.

After days of traveling, they finally arrived at the foot of the mountain where the temple was said to be located. It was a daunting sight, with the temple perched at the top of a sheer cliff, accessible only by a narrow and winding path.

Kael and his team began the perilous ascent, their hearts pounding with each step. One wrong move could send them plummeting to their deaths.

As they neared the top, they were met with a fierce wind that threatened to knock them off the path. But they pressed on, determined to reach the temple and the Oracle within.

Finally, after what felt like an eternity, they arrived at the temple's entrance. The doors were massive, made of solid stone, and etched with intricate designs that seemed to glow with an otherworldly light.

Kael and his team pushed open the doors and stepped inside. The temple was vast and dimly lit, with rows of pillars stretching to the ceiling. In the center of the room stood a figure shrouded in a cloak.

"Welcome," the figure said in a deep, booming voice. "I am the Oracle. What brings you to my temple?"

Kael stepped forward, holding up the Key of the Ancients. "We seek your guidance. We have obtained the Key, but we do not know how to use it to defeat the evil that threatens our world."

The Oracle nodded sagely. "I see. The Key is a powerful artifact, but it is useless without the knowledge of its true purpose. I will guide you, but first, you must pass my test."

Kael and his team exchanged nervous glances. They had come too far to turn back now.

"What is your test?" Kael asked.

The Oracle smiled. "You must pass through the Trials of the Elements. Each of you will face a challenge that tests your mastery of one of the four elements. If you succeed, I will reveal to you the true purpose of the Key."

Kael and his team steeled themselves for the challenge ahead. They had come too far to fail now.
