Anabel's POV After speaking with my son, I went to my daughter's house because, although Joel acted poorly and selfishly, there's a reality that only he was aware of. It must have been difficult for him, knowing the danger his sister and nephews were in, and letting her go, because those children have been like his own ever since their mother brought them into the world.
