Kamila's POV
Keelan leaves, and I'm left frozen by his revelation. Despite his horrible threat, it doesn't seem entirely illogical to me. I think I would act the same way if someone did such a vile thing to me. I'm not in favor of betrayal in any form, so it seems fair. Today, I understood why they call him the iceberg, and I have no doubt that he is capable of killing me if I cross the line.

As I leave, my anger reaches a level where I only know how to do crazy things. I had two options: either grab her by the neck to make sure she understood my threat or take her like an animal, making her mine until she couldn't walk. But I can't do that, no matter how angry I am. I have no intention of hurting her; I tolerate my wife, and I don't dislike her company, but that's all. I
