Jacob’s POV:

I was so perplexed… it is making me sick to know what the hell is with this girl... My father.... The Alpha of Black Moon.... his wolf is so powerful that he could make another alpha to be submitted to him... even humans are afraid of him...... here ... she stood up in front of him like she is talking so confidently with a normal human.

We had tea together and I showed her around the lake and around my home in my room… she talked to my sister… and the thing which is more surprising is that my sister was nice to her. I quite remember what she did with Diane… “you are so nice… not like the other girl who came yesterday… and even cute than her…” she complimented her. “Who??” she asked. “She is talking about Diane she came here yesterday” I scoffed and replied.

“Yeah, you should have seen how he kicked that outdated material", my sister said. “Go on Vic!!”, I made her ran away. “What’s up with Diane??” she asked. “Oh, it’s nothing for you to worry about… I mean I was just so angry at her… at the school… yesterday” I was upset the way she was treated.

“Jacob!! I really appreciate you being there with me… thank you so much for what you did…” she said, and it meant everything to me… “Hey Ana!! I was thinking if you would like to come with me to the school party?" I asked her “What about Diane…?? And many other girls would die to join you… then why me??” she asked curiously. “I…I…just want you to come with me… is it ok with you… would you ???” I asked nervously. “of course I would love to”, she said. You won’t believe how happy I was.

It was becoming romantic… and my mom came out nowhere… “aren’t you late my dear… you both probably have school today…” she said… “ohh yeahh I should go…” she was blushing … “see you at school then…” I replied. “yeahh …byee” she replied and left.

I went to my mom and dad and asked, “Why were you guys acting so weird...??” I was pensive. “As I said she looked very familiar… and her dad is my high school friend” he replied… “but I have never seen her father…” I asked again… “Let me tell you something… Eva and Tristan were high school lovers… and we including Adrian were best friends… when they had a girl… Tristan found his mate… Ysebella… so he left them…” he told a story… “Wait… you mean Tristan’s a werewolf and Ana??” I was surprised and about to explode.

“Tristan’s is not just any werewolf… he is a crescent alpha… and a powerful one… but Ana was not a werewolf… she never had a crescent moon mark on her shoulder… she is human… but after today I am concerned… because it was a werewolf she would the next in line to be a Luna,” he said… I was way too much surprised… “So, she is not a werewolf…??” I was keen to know… “Try to look on her right shoulder… you will find out…” he said and went inside home…

I must find a way to make her take off her totally shoulder covering T-shirt or jacket… how??... I went inside my room and got ready for my school… Aiden came to pick me up for school… as much as I was curious for her… I was looking forward to meeting and having a word with Marcus myself…

As we reached the school the first face, I saw was Diane’s… she is wearing bra type top and a skinny jean... with high heels… she looks disgusting… she saw and came to me… “Hi baby…are you still upset… I’m really sorry I came to give you surprise” she was trying to cry… “If you just leave me alone… I don’t want to ruin your day…” I said, and left her…

I was on my way… when I saw Marcus… we reached at the same time… “Hey!! Ollie…” Aiden shouted then Oliver and Marcus came to us… “Hey man…” they shook hands… “You have met him I guess … Marcus Malraux…  and Marc that’s Jacob…” Oliver introduced us… “Jackson’s son right…” Marcus said and why is calling my dad’s name… “Yeah, dad told me about you…” I replied and we shook hands…

“don’t mind me calling him by his name… Jack and I are like friends… I knew him since I was born...” he said. “Oh! He didn’t mention it…” I said... “let's talk while walking…” then we started walking...

 “Hey! I actually kind of need your help… you know Ana right…??” he asked… I was annoyed with that question… “Yeah she is my friend… why??” I asked keenly… “Just… can you tell me her real name…” he asked again… “Andrea Ives… and why are asking about her…??” I scolded out… I lied because I don’t know why is he asking about her… I was praying it is not a mate bond… “I just wanted to know… and don’t ever shout on me… if you have a thing for her… try it out…” he kind of challenged me…

When we entered Ana was again sitting at the back… Marcus went towards her… “Hey !! we might not be dating… but she is mine… it would be grateful if you would just mind your business…” I mumbled to him… “Look… you’re Jackson’s son I don’t want to fight you and I am not interested in her like the way you think… I can’t tell you right now… but I trust you because I trust Jack with my life…” he replied politely…

he is good at controlling emotions… I can sense he was angry… “Okay… if you trust me… then I can trust you on my father’s word…” I replied gently… I don’t want to fight my biggest ally I have after crescents… “Come to my homecoming party I’ll tell you…” I said and left…

I wanted to sit with Ana, so I went to her as well … and surprising for her… because we both sat right beside her. She became nervous… so before the teacher arrives… I wanted to ask her to join me at his party …I thought he would like her to join… but he asked before I could even say a word…

“Ana, would you like to come with me to my homecoming party??” Marcus asked her… “you’re homecoming party… ??” she was confused… “Yeah he came here after 7 years… so it was my dad’s idea to throw him a party.” I replied… “yep he is right… so I was wondering if you would like to come… we both will be there…” he said … “So, you two are like buddies now…” she laughed… she looks cute when she laughs…

“You can say that”, I scoffed… “Well sure I would… when is this party??” she asked. “Today… at night… I will pick you…” Marcus said… I was jealous but he made it clear about his feelings for her …I saw in his eyes he was telling the truth…

“Okay… give me your phone,” she asked about his phone… why his phone… she seemed comfortable… or very comfortable around us… this will be heartbreaking… but I mean around him… they became close friends in one day.

 Diane came to us… barking like a God… “Jacob, what are you doing with her… your seat is with me…” she shouted out loud at me… and before I could say… “OH!! Are you jealous queen bee…” Ana said in a manipulated tone and I and Marcus… we were enjoying actually controlling our laughs… “Shut up you b***h…” Diane shouted on her… “Scared I would steal your precious boy…” she said in that tone again… I was enjoying their fight over me… “Jacob loves me and I love him… you can’t steal my boy…” Diane said confidently… and this made me loose my laugh…

“You know what… you should not be so confident about it… just mind your business…” I said to Diane, and she left with that angry look on her face. Then the teacher came in …  we had only one class with each other today… so I met her in the cafeteria… and she was going somewhere… “Hey, are you leaving…” I asked her…  “Yeah, I was going to the library actually…” she said and she was in a hurry. “Okay see you at the party tonight…” I said and we parted…

I was looking to meet her again today… suddenly Marcus showed… “Boy… I want to tell you something…” Marcus was confused about something… “Okay let's sit here….” I said…

“Nina comes on here”, he invited over… “I want to know if Ana had to do something with our kind…” he asked… I glared at Nina because he should not say anything in front of her… “She is a witch…” Marcus said… I was stunned… “really??” I was traumatized … “Just I haven’t activated my powers yet…” she replied…

“Focus…” Marcus said… “Why are you so curious… tell me…” I asked… “Actually, I share a protection bond towards her… but it's only possible with our kind… not if she is human… “She is a Labonair…” I said… “A what??” they both groaned with surprise… “but my father was sure she is human…” I replied… “She is Tristan’s daughter…” Marcus was still surprised… “Jack has some serious explaining to do…”.

“He also said to look for crescent moon mark on her shoulder… if we find it, she is one of us… “then we will tonight...” he said… “Tonight??” Nina asked. “Yeah my homecoming party …” Marcus said to her… “Then I would come too she is my best friend…” Nina shouted at us… “Okay !! you can…” Marcus mumbled.

I am with no answer to it… maybe it’s time to Open some buried secrets.
