Chapter 9. Jacobs POV.

I can't explain the feeling that I have right now. I know that Alex and Alissa said that once you find your mate you know for definite but I had no idea it would feel this good, no amazing in fact. I have been watching her sleep for the past hour, simply beautiful. Laying next to her and being with her felt right. Last night together was incredible, I've never had s*x that felt like that, not ever. We had connected, our minds and body were as one, we didn't need to tell each other what to do, we just knew what each other wanted. We listened to our bodies, I can still feel every sensation of where she touched me and how it made me feel. I was so hard for her and its the only time I've been fully satisfied with another. I kissed her on her shoulder, seeing her face curl to a smile whislt still being a asleep. I rolled out of bed and headed to the bathroom to chuck my boxers back on, I want to make her some breakfast before she has to get up and face going back to that kitchen. I completely forgot to check in on Jasper and Alex to see if they had any trouble cleaning up my mess last night. My mind was consumed with Ada she had my full attention and rightly so. I grabbed my phone from my trouser pocket that lay in the bathroom. I had a few missed calls and then a message from Jasper that read 'All done, but we have bigger problems.' What does he mean bigger problems. I texted him back asking for him and Alex to meet me by the lake in an hour. I'll worry about that when I see him, I don't want to worry Ada with it, not yet anyway. I went over to the kitchen and started to make some scrambled eggs for breakfast and of course with our 'special sauce'. We all keep a stack animal blood in our rooms, refrigerated to keep as fresh as possible. As I started to dish up I could see Ada standing there watching, she was wearing a flowery kamino dressing gown looking sexy.

'I thought you'd gone' she said, looking happy to see me still hanging around.

'I wouldn't have just gone' I placed the scrambled eggs down on the table and walked towards her. I held both of her hands and placed them around my back.

'Last night was, it was the most amazing I feel connected to you Ada and I have never felt like that not with anyone. I can't just leave you. I know in my heart that you are my mate we're meant to be together. I hope that's what you feel?' I asked, I started off so confidently and then sounded like I needed her reassurance towards the end.

' I feel it too Jacob, I don't know why it's now that I do but I felt everything last night' she said. I just wanted her again, her sexy grin and those big blue eyes looking up at me, she is so seductive. She knows too that

I can't resist.

'You'll have to wait for your eggs' I said. I could see her look over to the table confused.

'The eggs are done and on the table' she laughed.

'Oh but we're not done' I scooped her up and she began laughing as I took us back to the bedroom. I sat on the edge of the bed with her crotch resting on top of mine, tracing my fingers around her thighs, my fingers then reaching to each cheek of her a*s pulling it closer towards me. Again I was in ecstasy, I watched every sensation take place in her face, her mouth parted, her breath deepend. The way her fingers were clawing around my neck. With the exciment that our bodies were feeling her eyes changed colour, that's what I wanted to see. They had turned a midnight blue colour but with speckles of turquoise it was like looking into a sea of crystals. After being in each others grip for a little while after, we decided to get some breakfast. Ada needed a shower before she headed off to the kitchen so I waited for her so we could walk somewhat of the way together. Ada told me that she had large plain black t-shirt I could wear and she'll wash my shirt, seeing as it was now daylight and everyone would be hanging around the Manor. Ada stepped out ready to start the day, she looked different somehow. Still wearing her ripped jeans, her hair down and a blue t-shirt but something was different. Maybe it was that she couldn't wipe that smile off her face. Whatever it was it suited her. As we headed up I could see Japser and Alex waiting by the lake. When we got closer I turned to stop Ada.

'I'm going to check in with Jasper and Alex to see if, you know if everything went ok' I said trying to be discreet, vampires are nosey breeds and we have a lot of them around.

'Yes of course, will you let me know how it went later?' She asked.

'Of course, I'll come get you when you finish. You alright getting to the kitchen?' Ada nodded in response. I bowed my head whilst my hands lifted her face closer to mine and placed a kiss on her lips. In that moment, the amount of gasps we heard. We pulled away and looked around to see people were staring. I suppose it's quite a shock. We giggled said our goodbyes and I headed over to where the lads were. Not being able to wipe the smile off of my face.

'Alright, so what's the problem what happened' I questioned. They both stood looking confused, they took one look at each other and then back to me.

'What's going on? Well I think you've got something you want to tell us don't you? They didn't sound annoyed just confused.

' I had a feeling but it was confirmed yesterday, Ada's my mate. She is the one I'm meant to be with. I didn't understand how I'd know but you're right Alex it was like nothing ever before!' I was so happy, I wanted them to be too.

'But she's a half breed' Jasper added.

'we're happy for you mate, you can't help who it is, if it's meant to be it'll happen' Alex quickly said before any argument had a chance to commence. Alex knows full well if someone insults or talks bad about your mate the protective instincts kick in, doesn't matter who you are.

'Anyway, so how did things go last night?' I asked hesitantly. Reading there expressions not all too well.

'It was fine, we got rid of the body. We took it up to the old forest, just north of here and burnt his limbs. It was when we got back that things went sour.' Alex explained.

'Was it the mess in the kitchen, did someone see it?' I asked. Feeling the fear run through my body.

'No no we managed to clean all that up before we took the body. When we got back to the kitchen just to make sure everything was in place, there were these two guys sniffing around the kitchen, and literally sniffing the scent, they asked if we had seen their mate Aaron' Alex looking nervous then continued. 'The two lads are not going to let this go. They know something has happened and they know for damn sure we're connected. We're all going to have to keep a look out make sure we all have our stories straight.' I looked at Alex and he was not his calm usual self. I felt like my actions have now put more people in danger.

' I am so sorry, if I hadn't have... ' I was then cut off by Jasper.

' If you hadn't then God knows what would have happened to your mate. C'mon we're in this together we'll get through it together.' For Jasper that was actually reassuring, I'm glad I've got these guys by my side that's for sure.

'Thanks I don't know what I'd do without you two. I've got to go and get change and then shall we head to training? I need to get my speed up if I'm competing against you in a couple of weeks Jasp.' I laughed. We have a competition in two weeks for crown the fast Vamp around the Manors track. We're all able to take part but it's basically a race against Jasper if I want to snatch that title from him. To be honest he's had the title of the fastest for a while now so he needs to hand it over! To get started we thought we'd race to my apartment that I shared with Jasper, no guesses to who won that one. I grabbed my training gear, placed Ada's top on my bed and we headed across to the track.
