Ada and Ellie made there way through the kitchen doors and into the dining area. The room was packed full of Vampires from different clans, although this year's party was even more busy than normal. Trying to avoid any eye contact with the guests Ada made it to the middle of the table to place a couple of the serving dishes down, narrowly missing the crowd of people huddled around blissfully unaware of her presence. For how she is treated at this Manor she was surprised not more of them were staring or sniggering at her, although not everybody shared the same opinion about halfbreeds. Some want them dead, some prefer they be banished to live a life on the run and others simply just couldn't care less whether they were there or not. The later statement is what we'd prefer people to think. Ellie was at the opposite side of the tabel they both looked at each other, nodded and returned back to the kitchen to where the remaining dishes were.
'that wasn't so bad, I thought it was going to be a lot worse' said Ada with a surprised tone in her voice, Ellie smiled and simply replied
'it's not over yet' still smirking Ellie picked up her two dishes and proceeded back to the dining room. Ada followed suit carrying the decanters full of animal blood which they prepared earlier on that day. As Ada reached the long tabel she couldnt see Ellie anywhere, this worried her. They had one eye on each other all night, staying in sight to make sure they were both safe, the people here are not there friends so they need to look out for one another. Ada placed the decanters down, still looking around for any sighting. Just then she felt a tight grip around her wrist causing a burning sensation, she winced and was immediately pulled down to where she was level with a man sitting down, she looked down and noticed a flashy rolex, a fitting suit, and then it clicked. It was the guy from earlier, the one she called stupid for nearly running her over. She moved her eyes towards his face, his eyes were black you could tell they were full of hate. Ada tried to conceal the pain she was in from his gripping her so tight.
'Didn't think I'd see you in a hurry' he sneared. Ada gulped and tried to pull herself away from him.
'look I'm sorry, I'm having a bad day, nothing to do with you at all. I shouldn't have said what I did' she said, hoping this would relieve her from this pain she was feeling, but it didn't look as though that was enough for him. He suddenly pushed her arm back as he threw a bone for a dog and said.
'You don't think I'm done with you yet do you?' Now free from his claws Ada hurried back to the kitchen, her breath was tight and her wrist still marked from where he gripped. It left a burn ring around her wrist. The kitchen doors opened, automatically thinking it was Ellie, Ada began.
' Oh thank god you're here, It was just the worst...' as she turned, it was not Ellie that was stood there in the kitchen it was the man who had gripped her. He was alone, with her, in the kitchen. Nobody came back her, only Ellie would be Ada had no idea where she might have gotten too. He started to take slow steps forwards towards her. Ada, slowly taking them back until her back met with the counter. Realising she had nowhere else to move and if she tried to sprint she wouldn't get far as he was already too close for comfort.
'I told you, I'm not done with you yet girl' his voice was hard and cold. He then put his hand under her chin tightly, lifting her head closer to his face. His other hand began to wander, he gripped her thigh, slowing moving his hand up her dress, she let out a squeel but he covered her mouth, he was strong. Ada frozen with fear, her eyes wide terrified to her core. He didn't care, he held her in position as he began to undo his belt, the sound of the unbuckling enough to make anyone shiver. All of a sudden a force of wind came rushing in causing everything to stop. It was Jacob. Jacob was here, all dressed in black from head to toe, almost blending in to the shadows and boy was he enraged. Stood as still as a statue both men stared at each other, one in shock and the other raging to a high level.
'Step away from her... Now!' Jacob growled, his body shaking ready to pounce. The man laughed.
'And what exactly are you going to do about it' he said, turning back to Ada showing no fear for Jacob. Without hesitation Jacob clawed him away from Ada, forcing his head to tilt making room for Jacob to sink his teeth into his neck. Jacob didn't just bite to be threatening, he tore parts of his neck away from the bone. The severity of the attack was major, blood splashed on most of the kitchen surfaces around them, one placed that was covered in particular was Jacob. With a blood stained mouth suddenly he released his grip from this man's neck, taking a step back as the man collapsed to the floor. His neck had been torn and was no longer attached to his body. Ada was silent, her finger nails carved slight marks into the wooden side as she stood with fear. Jacob on the other hand couldn't take his eyes off the body lying across the kitchen floor, this wasn't meant to happen. Just then the doors flew open causing them both to inhale but they were thankful it was Jasper and Alex. Jacob had told them to keep an eye out whilst he scares off the, now dead vampire.
'What the...Jake what happend?' Jasper asked hastily.
'He, he wouldnt leave her alone, I had to stop him. Otherwise he... You don't want to know what he would have done' Jacob said, bowing his head, you could see that his actions even took him by surprise. He'd killed before, he's had to, but when he was aware that would be the outcome. This, well he couldn't control his anger, all because his feelings for Ada were becoming clearer.
'You don't need to explain, we'll get rid of him and clean up the mess in here won't we Jasper?' Alex elbowed Japer forcing him to respond. Alex was a sweet guy, one who thought about others.
'yeah, yeah of course. You just take Ada home. It's all kicked off out there anyway so no one will notice anythings happend.' Jasper added. Not that he was convinced, Jacob jsut wanted to get Ada out of there as soon as he could. He finally lifted his head to look at her, which he hadnt been able to do since everything that had gone on in this short time. He could see she was still in shock as she hadn't moved position since he had his dirty hands on her. Jacob put his arm out and gestured to the back door. Ada contemplated whether to move at all and then began to follow Jacob out the back door of the kitchen which then lead them onto the grass gardens. Going this way would be the safer option, they'd be more out of sight to the residants and guests. They then headed on back towards Ada's cabin, all was silent especially the conversation between them both.
