Chapter 12. Jacobs POV

1189 Words
After speaking to Alex and Jasper today we figured that the friends of the vampire I killed had figured out that we did something to him, I'm not sure whether they know for sure but when someone close to you goes missing or is killed we are able to follow their scent and seeing as they were hanging around the kitchen they were still abel to smell him and it probably led them to where his body had been burnt. We all agreed that we need to be one step ahead of them we had to be, because of me and what I did. At the time I didn't see any other option I just wanted to rip his throat out, watching the way he touched Ada, it made me sick. After a little following the boys think they know where the two lads currently recide at. Its not a bad place at all to be honest, a bit flashy for my liking. Anyway now we know where they live (well we think) we are able to keep a close eye on them, don't get me wrong it would be long days and nights but it's something we're going to have to do. I'm grateful that I have friends like Alex and Jasper, they've not once made me feel like I'm on my own here and I should be to be honest, I lost control and its my mess. Anyway, that's when we went to update Ada as I had already planned to meet her myself but when we got there that's when we saw her getting to her feet, her face black and blue, it was a vicious attack. Blood dripping down her face, I could feel she was in agony but she tried to hide it from me. I'm angry about it, how could that old hag touch her like that, no one should touch her. I felt so useless that I wasn't there to stop it. Because of that I wanted to keep her safe and not let her out of my sight. As we returned to her cabin I decided to run her a bath. It's not much but I want her to have that time to relax and sooth her body, because damn she needed it. I filled the bathtub with natural oils and salts, they were on the side of the bath anyway so I just chucked them in. I'm not sure how much I should have put in but it smelt good so I'm sure that would be fine. I called her in to the bathroom once I had finished making it cosy for her, she strolled over trying to hide the pain she was in but i could feel her pain. I watched as she attempted to undress herself but that was even a struggle for her. I couldn't see her struggle so I began by helping her take off her top, her body so dark with bruises it was painful to look at, I just wanted to kiss every part that flooded her body. Once she was undressed I helped her into the bath. Watching her slowly sink to where the water met her chin, her eyes rolled back I knew it was the look of relief. The warm water was soothing her wounds and softening the tight areas of skin on her body. With that I left her to it. I went into the kitchen so I could make her some dinner. Something warm and comforting is what she needed, I just need to think what to cook. Just then I heard a scream come from the bathroom, I think she called out Ellie's name, I shot across so fast to see what was happening but when I got there she was submerged under the water her legs and arms kicking out of control as if she was fighting something. I pulled her from out of the water, sitting her up in the tub. Hearing her breath was a relief as she could breathe in air, I just wrapped my arms around her my chest on hers so she could follow my breath. 'Ada what happened?' I asked, hoping not to increase her heart rate even more by asking for a reply. She started to push herself up from the tub, I was surprised that her strength had returned so quickly, she didn't need my help nor want it, I could tell she was too focused on what just happened. 'I saw her' Ada stated. She grabbed a towel from the radiator wrapping it around her as she moved into the living room towards her desk. I followed curious to know what she was doing. 'What do you mean you saw her?' I was confused, who is she on about, when did she see them? In the bath? Before answering she took some plain paper from her desk and started to sketch, I couldn't make out what it was at first but it had started to form very quickly in to a building, an abandoned one by the looks of it. Something about it looked familiar but I couldn't think why it resonated with me. Still at it, her hands were working quickly on the paper, her drawings were incredible and extreamly vivid. More sheets of paper were being lined up and she began to move her way across, it was like her dream was played out by her drawings each vision on a different paper resembling a story book. 'Who's that?' I asked as I could see her detailing out a female presence. 'Ellie' she said plainly, her head turning back to her paper to continue. I continued to stand over her shoulder and watch her drawings unfold, it was just amazing to witness. The pen was then placed down on the tabel and she began to organise each paper in the correct order. 'Right, I know it sounds crazy but this is where Ellie is, look.' Ada finally spoke ready to explain everything that she saw. 'in that building there?' I asked. 'Yes, I walked through there and it was so dark inside, there are other rooms and Ellie is in one of them, she wasn't alone either' Ada added. She was looking hard at her drawings, adding more bits too it as she started to remember a little more of what she saw. Just then it clicked. I could see she added a more detail around the building, the trees surrounded it and there were logs that took its place outside of the building making it looking abandoned. When Alex and Jasper told me about the place they followed the lads too, they did mention that they had stopped near this building that looked abandoned and they found it really strange as it was a random building in the middle of a wooded area. 'I might know where she is, but I need to take this drawing' I said. I had to go and show Alex and Jasper as they will know if this drawing matches the building they saw. If so then we've got them.
