'Chris c'mon get your a*s in the car will you' Chris was always late in anything he did, you would have thought for how long he's been around he'd have got the hang of being on time. I wish I'd had told him the wrong time and then maybe he would of been ready by now. 'Wasssup boys!' Chris said excitedly. 'Sorry Aaron, mate, I just lost track of time you know what I'm like' he said with a smirk. Not a genuine apology I thought but, I can't be arsed with agro. 'Right lads, who's ready to find a mate at this party aye? Or if that fails then just a cheap bit of a*s for the night?' I laughed as the boys got excited in the back 'Yes Aaron, let's get some bitches' said Chris and Sam in union. Well we know what our plan is tonight. This party best be worth our time. We rarely have these meetings of different clans, that's mainly because we all have different views and the way we hunt is very different to how Darkthorn Manor do it. We do it the right way, we use humans as our meal supplements. We don't kill anymore as that seems to cause a lot of issues, God knows why. We befriend, we use and we wipe their memory, this way we can keep coming back and do our thing and the mere mortals are non the wiser. Works well for us. However, at Darkthorn they use animal blood, which is no match and doesn't satisfy the cravings us Vampires have. Although, we don't agree that they keep half breeds in there Manor, if it was our clan they'd be out. They are dirty mistakes which shouldn't be in the same league as us. 'Hey, I hear that they've got the halfbreeds supplying the food and serving on us all night.. I hope they've washed at least' Chris joked. Although I do hope he's right, these half breeds carry a stench with them, one that I do not care to smell. We're about 20 minutes away now, I've only ever been to Darkthorn Manor twice but it is one of the nicer estates compared to where other clans choose to recide. Some are run down and look like a drugs den, they are ones I happily refuse to attend. I like to keep myself smart, suits and dress shoes, and of course my rolex, that's why I go to places that are of the same league. As we reached a winding road we could see some cars had already made it. The pathway was lit leading us to a gravel area to park. I of course wanted to make an entrance so I spun my wheels causing smoke to bellow from my tyres, I pulled the handbreak and drifted into a spot. 'wooh! Haha yes lads' I laughed. The boys howling, slapping my back. We knew how to have a laugh that's for sure. As I looked in my rear view I could see someone standing in the mist caused by my car. I stepped out to get a clearer look at this figure only to smell she was a half breed. Chestnut wavy hair, blue eyes and her expression was pissed. 'Are you stupid?' the girl exclaimed. How dare she talk to me like that! 'What did you say to me girl?' I said through gritted teeth, finding my fits clenched in anger. I hate these halfbreeds, they are disgusting lowlifes thinking they should have the privileges that we do. I don't think so. My boys had also stepped out of the car and were either side of me, our necks cracked in unison, teeth glaring at this girl. That seemed to put the frighteners in her and she soon stepped backwards and was off like a shot. Good job too otherwise we would have been having her for our feast tonight. All I know is that she best stay out of my way tonight. We headed on down the pathway that led us to the double doors of the main building. We were greeted by some women, who for older ladies were tasty. 'Well hello there gentlemen, welcome to Darkthorn Manor, we do hope you enjoy your evening' the one in the sexy red dress said. 'Thank you gorgeous, I'm sure we will' I smirked. She giggled, placing her hair behind her ear, I'm sure she did that so I could get a waft of her scent, and boy I wanted it. I gave her a wink and brushed her arm with my body as we side stepped through the doorway. I felt her shiver, I'll be finding her later. The mighty chandelier hanging in the middle of the foyer was bright enough to light multiple rooms, I approached the older gentleman holding the tray of champagne flutes, he looked quite frail to be standing there all night so we helped him out by taking some glasses. We continued down through the corridor to the main dining room where it was bustling. 'Jeff! How are you mate, long time no see?' I shouted across the hall, hand in my pockets I made my way over, maybe tonight's going to be more fun than I thought.
