Lira’s POV “I’ll clean the mess,” I finally said to Damian after a long pause where we just stared at each other. The air between us was warm and awkward, it was almost like we’d been caught doing something we shouldn’t. My cheeks were still hot from earlier. “I’ll help you,” he said, in a calm voice.
