Lira’s POV He winced a little as I dabbed the cloth over the burn, but he didn’t pull away. Neither of us spoke. The kitchen was still full of smoke, but all I could focus on was his hand and how warm it felt under mine, i didn’t even know why I cared. Damian, trying to cook for me? The thought sounded strange, almost unreal. “You should’ve just ordered something,” I said finally, keeping my voice soft.
