The music was loud, and they weren’t even inside. It was a street party. After the engagement dinner, Anna took off to get dressed so that she could go into the city. Jackson wasn’t going to follow her, but they’d been gone for three whole hours. Just how long is a bachelorette party anyway? You told her to live it up, doofus.
Jackson had even knocked on Pearl’s door to see if Anna was with her mother.
“Oh darlin’, the island is in her blood, you’ll be lucky if she comes back before dawn. They’ll be all right, they are having their fun. Don’t worry, she’ll be ready for your day.”
