TEN: THE PURGE The full council didn’t meet to discuss a verdict for another week due to busy schedules. In that time Blott stayed in a cell at the village hall. It measured six feet by ten feet with grey walls, a stained wooden toilet hole, and a bed made from straw as his only scenery. Each morning he picked parasites off his skin and each night they crawled back again. The bed was riddled with them.
