Anna POV
We arrive at the camp, it’s dark out I don’t see lights anywhere. I go to say bye to this lady that saved me, then it hits me where is she going to go she can’t go back to the king.
“Where will you go now? I assume you can’t go back to your town?”
She shakes her head,
“Don’t worry about me dear, I’ve been wanting to escape for sometime. The king took my mate hostage last year, I believe he’s dead now though.”
I immediately answer her, “I thought vampires don’t have mates?”
She laughs a bit, “I’m a wolf. No vampire would of taken you away from their king. Do you see the way they look at him, as if he can walk on water.
