Chapter 2: Fun food to clean up

Unknown POV

I'm sitting in some shrub across the street watching her every movement. She tenses and looks around, I feel like she senses me. She glances exactly where I am standing for a few seconds later she shrugs her shoulders and gets in the car.

Anna POV

Matt shows me to my cottage I’ll be sharing with 3 other girls. I walk in, it’s rustic, not much to see 2 bunk beds a small bathroom to the corner, a little closet and off the corner I notice there’s a private bedroom.

‘Please tell me he’s staying in here too.’

He notices were my eyes have wondered.

“This is your counselors room, if you have any issues you can just knock” he explains.

I immediately answer him “You stay in this cabin?”

He stares at me for a moment, no expression on his face. Then he laughs “No no I’m in cabin 5, we usually try to keep the boys with the boys and girls with girls”

I couldn’t hide the disappointment on my face. He looked down running his hand through his hair as he opened his mouth a bell rang.

“Lunch time!” he says

I drop my bag, and follow him out the door. He was walking close to me when he puts his arm around me, I could feel butterflies through my entire body, then the heat between my legs start. This is embarrassing he barely touched me and I’m a wet mess. I lean in a bit to get a sniff of him, he smells like mint and rain. That didn’t help that made things so much worse.

I felt him tense a bit and the muscle in his neck bulge.

‘He knows, he can smell me!’

He smiles and shakes his head a bit.

“How old are you Anna?”

Thankful he’s changing the subject. “I’m 17, how old are you?”

“19, I’ve been at this camp every summer since I was 12.”

It must be fun then if he keeps coming back.

“Have you found your mate yet?”

He smiles down at me and goes deep into thought. Not saying a word. He smiles and walks me into the dinning hall.

The dinning hall is huge made of wood, high ceilings, there are tables everywhere. Each table has their cabin number. I look for my cabin, 16. As we walk over I see 4 ladies sitting there, the pretty blond I seen when walking in was sitting there.

‘Oh great.’

Matt walks me to my table, I see the blond stand up with a huge smile!

“HI there, you must be Anna. Welcome! I am so happy you have arrived! My name is Cherry I am camp counselor for your cabin!”

She jumps up and gives me a big hug lifting me up. She was about 5’10 she felt like a giant next to me. I’m only about 5’2, 100 lbs, brown hair green eyes. A bit plain looking. I bet a lot more plain looking standing next to Cherry. She finally let’s me go. She smiles at Matt.

“Hey Matt, thanks for showing her around. Meet me outback after lunch.”

She winks at him and he just looks down at me.

“I’ll see you soon Anna. If Cherry here doesn’t behave come find me.” He gives me a huge smile, my heart literally skipped a beat.

I sit down looking around the table the 3 other girls were starring at me so anxiously.

Cherry goes to speak when the tall brunette cuts her off

“Hi Anna, I am Bianca from Darsent Pack, this is Amber and this is Faith they are both from Ferrace Pack!”

I wave at all of them and smile.

I look at Bianca, she’s really pretty with big brown eyes, dark silky hair. I am literally jealous of her hair how does it look so fresh.

I look over at Amber she has glasses on reading a romance novel of werewolves, I snicker a bit under my breath. She has curly hair a bit everywhere and green cat like eyes. Faith is blond with no expression on her face eyeing one of the boys from another table.

“He doesn’t even recognize me, what a jerk!” Faith says.

No one seems to say anything. Cherry looks like she’s mind linking someone starring at Matt shock on her face and smiling. I feel like someone has their eyes on me, I look around a lot of people are looking at me. I guess it's just because I'm new here. but these eyes feel cold and they are looking through me.

I look at Faith, not sure what to say as I keep scanning around me.

“I hooked up with Tyler last summer, all summer. I thought we would be mates. This summer he hasn’t even looked at me.” She pouts

Then out of know where she throws her garlic bread at him and ducks. She misses him and hits Matt. I looked over and he’s eyeing me with a playful look on his face. I look back and my table is empty, I am the only one sitting here.

‘OH no he must of thought that was me!’

I go to say something when I feel a warm chocolate sauce hit my chest leaking into my shirt. Matt walks over with the biggest smirk and whispers into my ear

“Anna, if your going to throw food at me, better make sure it’s something fun to clean up.”

He leans down and licks the chocolate sauce that sprayed towards my neck. I feel goosebumps through my entire body, he comes back up to my ear and says “I’ll get to that later” when I see his eyes are focused on my cleavage covered in chocolate.

‘OH s**t!’

I am so wet I can feel a puddle on my chair. How can he do this to me just with one touch, his smell, anything about him and I’m heating up.
