‘’you are making a huge mistake because I know the Alpha king!’’ I shouted at the guards dragging me thinking that they would stop. ‘’I saved the king and I…..’’

‘’stop shouting!’’ I was yelled at. My heart raced as they dragged me into the room. It was tiny, no more than a few meters wide and high, and completely controlled by eye scanning. I had no idea what this place was, but the look on the men's faces told me that it was something terrible. I tried to pull away, screaming that I wanted to get out, but they were too strong for me.

When one of the guards told me that I was going to be taken to my doom, I never expected that it would be somewhere like that. I was thrown into the room, my eyes widened in horror. Everywhere I looked, there were weapons of all shapes and sizes, hanging on walls or neatly arranged on tables. Some looked ancient, while others appeared to be of more modern design. The air was thick with the smell of metal and oil, and I could hear a faint hum coming from some hidden source. It was clear that this was no ordinary room - it looked like a torture chamber, designed to inflict pain and suffering on whoever was unfortunate enough to be trapped inside.

‘’what the hell I’m I doing here?’’ I asked them. ‘’Do you know who I am!’’ I shouted.

‘’if you keep yelling like that then your punishment will increase!’’ I was threatened yet again and this time, it was by the man who looked like he was the Alpha king’s right-hand man. ‘’I will be asking you some questions and I need answers to it!’’ he yelled at me and beckoned to the guards. ‘’I need you to tie her up and…..’’

Tie her up? There were not even going to give me the chance to speak and tell them why I had tried to kill their king but I knew that by doing that, they might not even believe me.

I opened my mouth to scream, but before I could make a sound, they pushed me onto a chair and tied a tight rope around my waist, securing me to the seat. I struggled against the restraints, but they held fast, cutting into my skin and making it difficult to breathe. Panic rose inside me as I realized that I was completely at their mercy, with no way to defend myself or escape. I looked around the room again, hoping to find some means of escape, but all I saw were weapons and tools of torture.

‘’I need you to see your alpha king!’’ I shouted at them. ‘’if he is here, he would know me and remember how I had saved his life!’’ I begged them but it all fall on deaf ears.

The Alpha king’s right-hand man grabbed a weapon from the wall, a long metal rod with sharp spikes at the end, and pointed it at me. My eyes widened in fear as he moved closer, his face twisted into a cruel sneer. "Confess," he growled, pressing the sharp end of the rod against my throat. ‘’Tell me who sent you to attack the king!’’ he demanded. ‘’if you tell me then I can make your crime less painful and you wouldn’t have to suffer for too long,’’ he promised but I didn’t say anything but instead, I waited for what his next move.

I could feel the cold metal against my skin, and I knew that if I didn't say something soon, he would use it on me. But I had nothing to confess. There was no way I was going to tell him that I was a reaper and I had come to take the soul of their king. I shook my head, trying to plead with him, but he only pressed the rod harder, drawing a thin line of blood. I had tried to use my power at that moment but I couldn’t no matter how hard I tried to. It wouldn’t work because my powers were limited.

I closed my eyes hoping to endure the pain and also praying that I would be left alone and as if the man could hear my prayers, he removed the weapon from my throat.

‘’I won’t ask again human!’’ The man said through gritted teeth. ‘’who the hell sent you here!’’ he demanded. ‘’I need to know why you have come to the royal mansion to kill the king.’’

‘’Because the king owes me his life,’’ I replied to him and I could hear the guards gasped. They were not expecting that I would say something like that. I frowned at them and then muttered an incoherent word under my breath.

‘’it seems that you are a hard one to tame but I will make sure that you speak!’’ he shouted at me and then beckoned to the guards again.

‘’if only you bring the Alpha king then no none of this would be happening! I already told you that the Alpha king owes me his life and I have come to take it!’’

‘’Silence!’’ he slapped me across the face. ‘’I won’t go easy on you because you are a woman and at the same time, I won’t accept you talking about the Alpha king like that! don’t you dare call his name in such a manner!’’ he shouted at me.

I chuckled as I tasted blood in my mouth. ‘’if you keep hitting me then it wouldn’t change what I want. Your alpha king is who I want. If I take his life then….’’

‘’Silence!’’ he shouted and slapped me hard across the face again. This time, I didn’t only taste blood On my lips. I also saw the stars. I spat out the blood In my mouth and glared at him. Getting hit on the face was not supposed to be painful but since I was a human and unable to heal, I suffered the pain and it hurt like hell. I bite my lower lips as I lowered my head then I raised it again. ‘’I want your Alpha king!’’ I yelled at the guard.

The guard didn’t reply and before I knew what was happening, the other guards that I thought had disappeared poured water all over my body. The water was cold, and I shivered uncontrollably. I wondered where it came from until I saw that there was a door in the corner of the room. ‘’what the hell is happening!’’ I gritted my teeth as I spoke. ‘’why did you pour that water on me?’’

‘’I will be the one answering the question, not you young lady!’’The man retorted and I was untied and taken into the door. As I stepped inside, I felt a blast of cold air hit me. The room was made of ice, and the temperature was far below freezing. I wrapped my arms around myself, trying to keep warm, but it was no use. I was completely exposed, and I knew that I wouldn't last long in this freezing environment.

"What is this place?" I asked, my voice shaky with fear. ‘’is this some kind of ice castle?’’

The guards sneered at me and the Alpha king’s right-hand man replied to me. ‘’you will be locked up in this ice room until you confessed to your wrongdoings!’’ he replied me.

. "Confess to what?" I protested and folded my arms as I looked around me. ‘’If you bring you……Before I could say anything else, I suddenly felt a sharp pain in my chest, in the exact spot where the first ruler of the Reapers had shot me. I gasped in pain and collapsed to the ground, screaming in agony.

Why the hell I’m I feeling this pain? I thought to myself and then I remembered what the realm ruler lord had told me. ‘’you will feel pain every full moon until you kill the man that you saved,’’ The words resounded in my head and I knew that the full moon was drawing near because the pain was still bearable but it made me weak.

Through the haze of pain, I muttered the Alpha King's name because if not for him, I would not be in that situation. "Alpha King," I whispered, my voice weak and trembling. ‘’I must…..’’ I gasped as I suddenly lost sight of my vision and I blacked out in the process.
