LUKE’S POV
I spent the rest of my day avoiding Ryker, not wanting to spoil my mood or day by running into him and getting reminded of our fight from earlier that day. When I had been walking around, I had met a nice lady who introduced herself as Linda, a Dragon shifter. I knew that there was an existence of other species apart from Werewolves, but seeing them in the flesh was unreal.
“ Can you shift?” I asked, hoping I did not sound impolite.
“ I will shift for you if you promise me to do the same,” she responded cheekily. She had me there. I was still very afraid of shifting, but if they were meant to protect me, shifting around them would become a norm.
