RUBY’S POV
I had spent the day training with Timothy,lifting small weights and ‘building muscle’ as he had called it. I was determined to learn as fast as possible and so whenever he suggested I rest, I reassured him I was okay and we would continue training. We were yet to begin the actual fights, but knowing little about fighting I followed his lead. By evening, every muscle in my body ached. I could barely lift my arms in the bathroom as I washed off the dirt and sweat of the day. Michael was set to arrive the following day and all I hoped for was good news from his end.
