LUKE'S POV My eyes felt heavy as I tried to pry my eyelids apart. Everything hurt, the pain even worse compared to when I shifted. Slowly, my eyes adjusted to the room I was in and at the farthest corner was the man that had saved me staring at me unblinking. I looked around the room for any signs of danger .The room was pretty cozy actually,two lamps illuminating the space, one bed that I was currently occupying, a desk and a couch that the man was occupying.
