Alex tried to keep her face passive when we reached the gym. She tried not to show her excitement but I knew her a bit better to see that she was looking forward to getting back in the cage. She was a bit hesitant about her ankle. I watched her when she slipped on a foot guard, she caught my look and I can notice that she was uncomfortable. “I still don’t trust my ankle enough to go without it.” She admitted. “If you are uncomfortable with getting back inside the cage. I can ask my dad to lend me one of his fighters.” I offered.  She shook her head. “I’m fine. Someone has to kick your butt from time to time.” She joked.
