Everyone was huddled up outside while Alex and Josh played a few rounds of football. Mike and Luke made a bet that Alex was going to win. I was amazed at how positive they were that their sister was going to win against their brother. “Isn’t Josh a jock?” I asked. I remembered him mentioning that earlier on.
“Yeah, but Alex is a born athlete,” Luke said.
“She has always been bigger than girls her age. Not overweight big. Athlete wise.” Mike pointed out.
“Whenever she could, she busied herself with sports. She has been a good shape ever since she could walk. Boys and even our friends were crazy about her” Luke said with a smile on his face. “She was tough her whole life. Even when our mother disapproved.
