I couldn’t convince myself to leave early morning without saying goodbye to Alex. I spend a few hours at the gym with her to watch her warm-up and get ready for her fight. I was a bit hurt that she turned me down. We didn’t say much to each other since last night. One bad bump in our relationship doesn’t mean we are over. I had to be patient and let her come to me when she’s ready. I know she loves me and cares about me. It’s just that small bump that she needs to get over that can change everything.
It was time to go for me. Tom and Jack were waiting for me already at the arena. Alex worked hard for today, this was her first chance to see how far she has come over the past few months. She had to overcome obstacles in her life and this was just another one that is going to be another win
