Miss Elizabeth Todays the day we mark our daughter 1st birthday. She’s so beautiful born just like her father Micheal. Long silver hair and dimpled cheeks. She always seemed to have a quiet ambience that made everyone around her comforted. On the odd teething day storms started to brew but the fae folk Blamed it on the gods and bad spells. But myself and her father knew. Micheal also had the skills to control the weather. But he gained his skills at the age of 16, almost with emotions in control with guidance of the council. But with a baby with such powers came great consequence. Many came for her as blistering storms and droughts began to happen when she hit the terrible twos. We asked our dear friend Leo to keep a watch on her in the human world. We were so scared and saddened to turn her over but felt best. We left her a white feather and named her Fate so she would never forget her upbringing. It’s her best protection to guide her away from the Fae community. She would only be used as a weapon or controlled by another kingdom into slavery. She was a true princess but deserved a better life. At least Leo had a experience in the human world so he could help her forget about the worlds we lived in. She would have her own hopes and dreams. Goodbye my fate…. Mummy loves you. Patrick I began to panic as we reached the border. I’ve always watched over her. She’s my heart and soul. At 130 years of age I look like a teenage boy still and yet she has always accepted my differences as a ‘human’. Her parents were gone now after an ambush on her fae community the king and queen were killed leaving her community with no hope. That’s when clay reached out. I never knew of a fae with the skills of the future or sight seeing. So when we first met I was very taken back. I decided to learn as much as I can about the human kind. Hiding out from the community around me. My parents became concerned as I become to shut myself of from our kind and the community. They began to see myself off as an outcast. That’s when I decided to runaway as a teenager. But when I returned the copes family took me under there wing. They were the Cope royalty of the south wing woods. There daughter was adorable and I took many of attempts to play and watch her develop. But her parents become concerned for her powers. That’s when they consulted me to look after her as her guardian and to take her away to the human world. It took lots of will power to runaway with a toddler at my age but I have seen her grow. With a fae age, we develop 4x faster than the normal human rate. I decided to watch her from afar after a bad day watching her scream from toddler tantrums. Edventually I made sure that the human kind found her. The foster care ‘system’ took her in. She was given adoptive loving parents. When she turned 18,I decided to join the same university to meet her as I looked similar age. Due to deep sadness a year later, her father died. I tried to rescue him as I knew this would cause her heart to break. I ran through the flames to reach him, trying to control the fires with my powers but it was too late. I just remember his last words as I reached him….’protect her’. He must of known I was different but he believed what i was and trusted me to his last breath as I held his hand. I was saddened by his death but as far we don’t control our emotions like humans. I stared into his eyes until the fire got too close. He died within seconds from smoke inhalation. I managed to escape the flames with what powers I had left yet I had severe burns on my arms, I managed to treat them with some fae ointments I managed to salvage. Remembering them weren’t my speciality. Fae I awoke in a cold sweat under the hood. I decided to lie low. Deep breaths but no sudden movements.I heard an arguement break loose form outside the van. Patrick exited the back doors to join in. I tried to break loose but there was hand restraints on me. So I screamed. ‘Help me!’ ‘What’s going on in there, what are you two up to!’ Replied what sounded like an older man. ‘Let’s examine the van shall we, you two don’t go anywhere’ said a lady. As I panicked I heard the wind pick up immediately and thunder rumble in the background. The van shook on the ground. All of a sudden the van toppled causing the audience outside to gasp and there were a few screams. I scrambled on my knees as best as I could bashed around feeling the blood Run down my recent down my head. I managed to pull the head covering off but right in front of me stood a familiar figure. Clay. ‘Please I don’t want any trouble just let me go!’ I shouted. ‘I’m here to help fae sweetheart, come with me, we need to go now. I want to help you.’ His eyes seemed so sincere that I decided to try and attempt to go with him. I was so sore from the van hurling over. He swept me up into his arms, I felt at peace all of a sudden and again passed out. Why does this keep happening? Hours later I wake in what seemed like a cottage. The log fire was burning in the background as I could hear the crackling. But My eyes were blurry. Before me was Patrick. And in the background I guess was Clay. I started to panic when Leo shushed me. ‘Your ok darling don’t worry. Welcome to the fae world.’
