"How I waited for this day to come"
I adjusted my wrist watch, looking up at her. "You're late"
"Better late than never." She sat down carefully. "I have more juicy news"
My ear perked up at this revelation, my anger gone.
"I had to make sure I wasn't forgetting any file. You haven't changed much" Jenna placed a large file on the table as she smirked at me.
I rolled my eyes. "I've been going through a lot, Jenna. I just don't want to be kept in the dark anymore" I stretched my hand to take the file but she slapped them away.
"First of all, I hope you're feeling ashamed of yourself" She had always been a blunt person and sometimes, if I didn't remind myself that I needed her, I would've strangled her.
"I am" I answered because knowing Jenna, if I didn't, she wouldn't
