CHAPTER 5

Kaia Eunice

"We're here." we stopped at a very large door found at the end of the hallway which I assumed to be King Ashton’s office.

“Thank you Irene.” I said giving her a warm smile.

"Call me if you need anything Kaia." she dismissed herself leaving me standing in front of this huge door. At the other side of this door, the king is waiting. According to Irene’s dream, she saw me sitting by the throne. A witch’s vision or dreams are always accurate. I’ve been living with Alexia for quite some time and when she had a vision they always happen unless prevented.

'It will really help us a lot if he's going to reject us.' Leah said.

'I don't think that's what he's planning to do.' she growled before disappearing at the back of my mind. After all these years the Moon Goddess decided to give us a mate to what?

I knocked on the door three times and walked in. There I saw my mate sitting on his swivel chair with a topless woman on his lap. Well this is exciting. I’m tired of describing what the girl looks like. All pack sluts are the same right? Either brunette or blonde; they all have the same taste in closing and in men. Men with power but like I care. It’s a good thing he found someone to f**k with because in all honesty he’s never gonna have me.

I looked around his office and it seemed like he’s done a lot of work in here. You know what I mean. I saw a couch located near the window and decided to sit there. There’s a tea on the table and it’s still hot. I poured myself a cup and watched a live action romance movie.

They continued to eat each other’s faces and I continued to drink my tea. The woman on top of him turned to my direction and as she opened her eyes, they automatically landed on me. She gasped and her eyes grew wide. This made them stop.

Ashton glanced at my direction and I had that emotionless look on my face as I watched them. The woman’s shocked expression turn into rage as I probably interrupted their activity.

“Who are you??!!! How did you get passed our guards??” she growled at me. I just shrugged my shoulders and took a sip on my tea. This angered the shewolf.

“Nicole, get out first. I need to talk to her.” the woman named Nicole glanced at the King not believing that he’s asking her to leave. With one last glare she took her shirt and went out of the office stomping her feet.

“Speak.” His face darkened and a dangerous growl was heard.

“You do not tell me what to do mate.” he said through gritted teeth. I scoffed which earned another growl from him.

“I just did sire and you followed it.” I held a cold look on my face but I can feel Leah smirking at the back of my mind.

‘Badass.’ Leah commented I mentally smirked.

“Don’t try my patience woman. Mate or not I am going to punish you.” he threatened me but does he actually believed that I’m scared of him?

"Let's get straight to the point King Ashton." He raised his eyebrow probably wondering why I know his name. He gritted his teeth eyes shifting from forest green to black.

“I told you not to tell me what to do mate.” it took me a second to realise what he’s done; the next thing I knew I was pinned to the wall causing it to crack. I silently hissed at the impact. His hand is gripping my neck tight but not tight enough to choke me to death.

“I am the king of the werewolves and you are just a worthless rogue. You are to respect me, bow to me, and beg me for your worthless life.” He growled eyes growing darker.

I snorted. “Do you really want to play it like this Ashton?” In a swift motion I twisted his wrist and changed our position pinning him to the wall.

“You want my respect King? You’ve got to earn it.” pushed him harder on the wall but it wasn't long when he twisted my wrist and made his way to my back crossing my right arm over my chest.

I almost got goosebumps as he sniffed my neck. I tried to elbow him with my left arm but he was quick enough to put it behind my back.

“Whatever you do, it’s futile mate. And I must say that you smell delicious, I bet your p***y getting wet now.” I gritted my teeth as anger started to grow inside me. I can feel Leah rampaging trying to take control I held her back as much as I can. I bet my eye color’s changing now but I won’t let him see that.

Using his strength he put my other arm on my back and I can hear him holding something. Later on I felt something touched my skin, I hissed as it burned my wrist.

Silver handcuffs.

After locking the cuffs he pushed me away and I heard him hissed. I turned around as saw his hands were burned but the it heal the moment I saw it. I tried to move my hands but the cuffs are burning my wrist.

He looked at me with pure venom grabbing my arm.

“You will come with me.” he pulled me out of the room roughly literally dragging me down the stairs and down to one of the familiar places I’ve been in.

We entered the cell which I assumed to be the same place I was in yesterday.

"You'll stay here until you learn you're lesson on how to respect me." he pushed me to the chair and tied me up with a wolfsbane rope. I hissed as the rope touched my skin. I kept my face void with emotion as he continued to tie me to the chair.

"So are you gonna torture me now?" I said sounding so bored.

"You said I need to earn your respect, now this is my way of earning them." he closed the door behind him and made his way to the table filled with different torture equipment. I can feel my energy’s slowly fading. This will probably hurt.

"First I want to ask you a few questions." he said as he was picking something to hurt me with.

"What do they call a lovely lady like you?" I scoffed at his question which was returned by a deadly glare from him

"Kaia." I simply said before he sprayed wolfsbane on my neck. I bit my lower lip as it burned my skin but other than that it didn't really hurt me.

I still had that cold look on my face and it seems like he’s not satisfied with my reaction so he took a knife from the table and a silver dust.

He cut my arm, opening the wound with his hand and the worst part was when he poured the silver dust in them. I screamed in pain and a satisfied smirk is played on his lips. This shouldn’t have hurt us this much but because of the full moon our energy is being drained.

"So Kaia how did you end up in my territory?" Hmmp. Basic questions. I know this was coming.

"Hunters. They were chasing me." I said truthfully. This might have caught his interest since he grabbed a chair and sat down right in front of me.

"Why were they chasing you?" he asked.

"It's actually a very long story." again he cut my arm open now its forming an “X”. I saw a hint of amusement in his eyes as he does this and again I screamed as he poured the silver dust in them.

"Don't worry babe, I got all the time in the world."
