For the next couple of days, I searched for the perfect place to make a new start. I found an apartment overlooking the park. I rent a penthouse which is made up of the entire top floor. The view is impeccable and since my husband refuses to divorce me, I guess that entitles me to his money. He hasn’t cut me off or tried to control my allowance, which does not have a limit, since I moved out. I buy new furniture and indulge myself in a little retail therapy. The best kind there is. I get my girls new beds, toys and clothes for their new rooms, although it may take awhile before they can stay with me again.
