Jay stays silent as I step out of the bed and walk to the only door I see in the room apart from the one for entry. I feel like I need to cry to get the emotions out of me. He doesn't understand anything, he doesn't know how hard it is for me to resign from the only work I have and run away from him. I enter the bathroom and move to the wash-hand basin and glance at myself in the mirror, wisps of messy hair flying towards different directions, dull skin and dark under eye bags that makes me look like a sick raccoon. I don't usually hate myself, but now I think I do. Every part of me looks messy, and I'm not even half as beautiful as the woman carrying his baby, how can I believe that I'm the one he loves?
